@jessi-rae Hahaha! 😂 Do you have a favorite type of knife?
@scribbles *pats you on the shoulder* Edna will be fine, don’t worry (she’s too adorable for anything bad to happen to her). 🤗🐿

@selah-chelyah Thank you! 😉
Hahaha! I didn’t know that (I’m not very familiar with uniforms). But I guess that just means that Daeus is especially privileged then. 😛

OH MY.
This is so amazing.
I would have been the first to pick up that poor old book! Hardcover was right; people just don’t write the way they used to.

Thank you! 😊
Old books are simply wonderful, aren’t they? 🙂 What are some of your favorites?
-
Oh, wow. All my favorites are old!
I really love The Scarlet Pimpernel, Les Miserables, The Fisherman’s Lady and The Marquis’s Secret, Pearl Maiden, Queen Sheba’s Ring, The Lady of Blossholme, In The Reign of Terror, etc.
-
How about you?
-
Some of my favorites are An Old-Fashioned Girl, Anne of Green Gables, and a Little Princess. 😊
-
@sandrina Good question!
@mariposa-aristeo I have a friend who’s trying to get me to read An Old Fashioned Girl! Not that I’m opposed… I just don’t own it and have a lot of other stuff to read, like always.

HEY. WHO STARTED CUTTING UP ONIONS WHILE I WAS READING THIS?! MY EYES!!! 😂 This story is absolutely precious, and I love it. But then…is there any story that could come out of Mari’s head that I wouldn’t like? I doubt it. 😋❤️🐿

Thank you so much for sharing, Mariposa! This is so sweet! I absolutely loved it! There is something so tender and heartfelt and delightfully, imaginatively child-like in your writing! Reading this just made me want to be little girl curled up reading Anne of Green Gables and Little Women again! God bless!
P.S. Please send my love to Aberdeen!

Thank you for reading! 😊 Awwww, that makes me happy (especially since my goal is to write for children)! ❤️
Aberdeen is tickled you thought of him and sends you a dinosaur hug. 🤗

@evelyn I have a lot of hidden references throughout the story. (Like Brandon really does go on about getting fired behind the scenes, and I actually do show my fellow staffers the food I bake in a FB group chat—and of course they can’t eat it. 😛)
@ashira I think Josiah would agree. 😆

Thank you! I too hadn’t always thought about how I could honor God in my stories if He wasn’t in them until I wrote this article—and now I’ve realized that I can glorify Him in every story I write, whether He’s in it implicitly or explicitly. 🙂
