@scarletimmortalized I love writing poetry, but I’m still learning myself! However, if you still would like to have someone to look over your poetry, I would love to. 🙂

@h-jones Definitely!
As for writing, I do write a lot of poetry. When I can’t think of anything to write (as in a story or such), I just slip into poetry mode. It’s my go-to when I am hurting or exhausted or just the opposite and I need an outlet for my emotions. If you’re interested, here’s where I keep most of my poetry. It’s a hom…[Read more]

@dakota This rings so sweet and so true – thanks for posting it! <3
@nuetrobolt Thanks so much! You are very encouraging!
Also, even if you don’t consider yourself a “good” poet, I definitely would love to see something from you sometime, if you wouldn’t mind. 😉 -

Didn’t get any work done. 🙁 Hoping to at least write a hundred words. If I get that far, it’ll be hard to stop from getting to a thousand. 😉

@kb-writer I am also self-taught, so I will tag along to see other’s results. I do tend to make up my own patterns sometimes, just for the fun of it.

@kb-writer I love Robert Frost’s poetry, too. It just describes simple beauty in such a profound way. My other favorite poets would be Robert Browning, William Wordsworth – I love She Was a Phantom of Delight, one of my favorite of his poetry – and Emily Dickenson. Robert Louis Stevenson and Tolkien as poets write beautiful poetry as wel…[Read more]

I am really having a hard time with setting aside time to write. This year I am super busy with school and life is getting tough. I barely even touched my draft, so I’m hoping to complete it this week. We’ll see. I suppose my goal is to finish that draft, like it was last time.

@kb-writer Hey, so awesome to have you here! 🙂 Just barging into your previous conversation, I know what it’s like to read your own poetry from when you were little and cringe and turn the page for something better. But I guess it’s those starters that get us to where we are now.
I love poetry, too – both reading and writing it. Do you have an…[Read more] -

@gabriellepollack Okay, so I think this is how you do it? I am casting my vote for…oh my goodness, this is so hard. I think I like submission#1 best, but submission#3 is so sweet and sad! I’ll go with submission#3. Thanks!

Wow! Just wow! I usually don’t get pulled into stories so much that I am trembling with cold and excitement when I read them, but your writing captured me from the start! Incredible work! I am so glad I got to read this! Wow!

Just worked on a new, more hopeful ending. If you have any feedback, I’m still up for it!

In the sands, there grew a clover,
Solitary in its grace.
