Hope you all have an awesome week! I’m going to try to pop in a bit later on, but we’ll see.

If you’re reading this, the chances are pretty high that you’re a writer. But how often do you tend to stop and think about what it means for you to say that? Being a wri…[Read more]

Do I need to reintroduce myself when I’ve been absent from the forums for nearly SIX WHOLE MONTHS?! 😮😬 (Except for keeping up with the SE fiction @mariposa writes, of course… 😉) It’s been a CRAAAAZY half a year, but I think I’ll be popping in frequentlyish again, so…*flings pecan leaf confetti everywhere* *hands everyone a squirrel and offer…[Read more]

My goodness! Those are some crazy dreams! XD Truly and certifiably insane, some of you. XD Just kidding – I’m a kettle calling pots black. But at least when it comes to dreams, I cannot even begin to match any of those. My dreams are so insanely boring and I so rarely remember them…
…yeah. Not even going to bother. 😛

@the-inkspiller I know I have a vivid imagination, I was saying I didn’t think it was overactive imagination. But after thinking about it more… I do have an overactive imagination. *nods*
That dream is pretty weird. XD
@karthmin …I’m not sure which is the craziest… or how you even measure that? So I’m just going to sum up one. It part…[Read more]

Good evening, Ereki!
We have another discussion topic for this week, and I am personally quite interested in your answers to this one. Here’s what Daeus wrote for us:
Why to write outside
I’m writing this post outside. The sun is shining, and some trees provide shade. The stream is full and bubbling and a wind stirs the leaves.
Have I c…[Read more]

@princess-foo *chews lip* So, I do like both endings. And sad endings are always… *coughs* fun because of emotion. But I think, in this case, I do like @karthmin‘s ending better for the space we have. I feel like it’s more straightforward and we still have good, sad emotions there.
We could maybe combine some aspects though. For instance, if we…[Read more]

Good news! @karthmin got busy and wrote a bunch last night! We are now at ~1800 words and at the climax. The reason for this update is that we are at a crossroads. Karthmin and I proposed two alternate endings at the end of the doc. (His is in bold, and mine is in the comments.) We have the potential to be done writing by tonight, which would be…[Read more]

I’m back! *bows as confetti rains from the sky* And… we are a wee bit behind schedule. Ideally, we would be finished writing tomorrow, but we currently only have either 164 words of basic set-up or 1200 words of less basic set-up, depending on if we want to cut out most of that set up as some people planned. The deadline is Sunday night.

@Catwing, I must second Karthmin. I have to disagree with you on not having a vivid imagination – you just focus on the broad strokes.

By the way, I quite liked Endbringer, though I think I still need another couple read-throughs to understand it properly.
