*nods head* Ah, thank-you! Those are better explanations for her actions than a change in her beliefs. And that makes her actions consistent near the end of the movie because her belief in right and wrong would prompt her to go against her uncle. *sighs in relief that the plot hole has been filled*

Yeah, I agree…I think she more struggled with staying true to her beliefs in the midst of difficult circumstances, than she did actually change her beliefs.

I agree with you wholeheartedly that the theme is redemption. More broadly, I think the focusing question could be “Can I be redeemed?” because Will not only tries to find a second chance and become good but also desires to undo his past sins through his deeds. When I get random thoughts like that, I jot them down too! But I never do it in the same place. I’ll do it on my phone or in a random notebook nearby or on a piece of paper I had lying around next to me. It makes them very hard to keep track of. 😂
