            Hello everybody

I was just wandering if anyone was interested in maybe starting up the story. Again. Lol

We would probably need at least three people, but I was thinking that if we could each add to the story at least once a week we might be able to keep up a steady pace.

I’ve organised the characters (the three I could find), ideas, info, Riddles, and story. So if anyone can’t remember something from the story, I might have it in my tiny library of story info.

Or, we could let the forum slip into the deep dark hole of lost forums and hold funeral.

            Any thoughts?

Hey y’all! What do you think about Denali joining the story?

I think that would be awesome! The more the merrier, at least as far as dying stories go.

                Denali!!!!!!!

                I’m so glad you’re back!

I’m definitely for reviving the story, although most of the stories from the Flabbit Room (the two I know of) have had a little trouble staying active.

Heyyyyy everyone. This scene is looking pretty fun!

                  (<– anyone get that?).

Haha! Yes! I mean, I think I do, hopefully I’m right and its the movie line I’m thinking of or else that would be really embarrassing. *laughs nervously*

Holly fell asleep as soon as her head hit her makeshift pillow, in spite of her attempt to keep awake. Her sword was still buckled to her belt and her boots still on her aching feet.

It felt like she had only slept moments when a scream tore her from her dreams.    “SHAPESHIFTER!”

Holly jolted awake, eyes wide. She leapt to her feet, tripped over her cloak she had been using as a pillow, and fell hard on her back, head banging against a root. She squinted up at the canopy of leaves, and tried to make sense of what was going on.

Shapeshifters, why couldn’t she picture what they where? Where was she? Who was yelling? Then her mind cleared and she remembered. Wait, shapeshifters? Here?!?! Something slammed into Holly and sent her crashing into a nearby berry bush, the thing pinning her down. She looked up and saw the yellow eyes of what appeared to be a giant wolf, then her songsword came whistling out of it’s scabbard and ended the thing.

Holly scrambled to her feet and looked around. Lagoron was firing arrows left and right with Nora behind him, Arla was shouting insults at the enemy, Jason was shoving a snake-thing into the fire, and the new guy who’s name Holly couldn’t remember in her slightly confused state was shoving a frozen bear off of himself.

Holly clenched her jaw and swung her sword. A fiery and slightly desperate tune sang out in the night, coming from Holly’s sword. The shapeshifter closest to her screamed, and Holly cut him down.

“Why do evil monsters always chose three in the morning to attack?” She muttered, ducking under a claw, “What’s wrong with starting after breakfast?! Don’t your evil plans work just as well then?!!” Holly jabbed and leapt to the side, dodging another angry blow.

Hey, I have a idea. what if the group got captured? I don’t know what would happen then, but we could brainstorm.

                    Hey everybody.

I just wanted to let you know that I’m gonna back out of character castle for now.

It’s been probably the most fun and funniest collaborative stories I’ve been part of, but it’s a lot to keep up with right now and I think at this point my characters will develop better in their own world.

I’ve had a blast doing this with Y’all, and I’ll still be around Story Embers.

Ok, so I had a idea of how the battle scene might start.

What if Ian was helping one of the shape shifters that got hurt in the earlier battle, but didn’t know it was a shape shifter? Then the shape shifter comes back from gathering wood or something and recognizes the group and calls for backup?

Ok. We have two options the way I see it. Either we let the story go and let it slide into the deep dark hole of lost forums, or we give another push to bring this story back to life. but we’ll need everybody.

I vote on bringing this thing back to life.

Welcome @avery_diagham! Glad to have you join the story! I can’t wait to see what you come up with for your character, let me know if you have any questions.🙂

Random human side characters would, I assume, come in as needed (@jasmine????), but no human main characters.

Yes, I think that was the plan.

We recently had a bunch of people leave, so I can explain what the story is about and you can join if you want.

@Everyone who is interested in joining:

I started this story at The Flabbit room and started it back up again once I got onto Story Embers. All the characters are animals living in a place called Ellwood forest. Your character can be any animal. The plot was that the forest would flood, the humans would cut down the remaining trees to build a dam against another potential flood, and the characters wouldn’t have anywhere to live, so they need to find a new home. Right now the flood is going down and the characters are about to leave their island they where stranded on when the flood started.

I mentioned when I started the story that I would like people to control their own characters, but try not to control other peoples characters a lot. I get it if someone hasn’t been on a lot, or they need to answer a quick question to keep their post going though.😉

The character limit is 5, and right now we have…3 people working on the story (4 if Cathy joins). one fox, one dragon, and Avery hasn’t made her character yet.

So, tag me if you have any questions!
