Thanks @j-a-penrose! To be honest, I intimidate myself with the amount of info sometimes. I’ll definitely keep the publishing thing in mind. I can see how that would be an issue.
YESSS! I love making my creatures. *hugs Kumquari dragons* *hugs tacumas* *almost hugs Yeultzer* *shoves Yeultzer over a cliff*

Ya’ll knew it was coming. ;P
Some of you might remember the first part of it from when I posted it on the general forum. This is the complete one with some updates. If you have any questions about how it relates to the rest of the story, please ask. I don’t want to dump it here, just because…well, the post is long enough as it is.

@wishingwell13 I AM SO SORRY!
Okay, heads up, next time, see if you can tag me into things. I’ll be the most likely person to be around, and I should be able to get back to you, and get some others over here as well. I’ve just been rather busy because of multiple exams, assessments and other such things. You can tag me by copy and pasting…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose *bursts out laughing* That’s so strange. How did you know that was exactly the lesson I needed? 😛
I think mine will work well as a prologue. I’m going to make some modifications, though, to foreshadow a plot twist I came up with yesterday (*squeals*). My goal is to drop hints there, then drop something closer to the twist itself to…[Read more]

@cassie-hartfinh, oh wow, congratulations!! *throws pine needles.* And yeah, I’m with Jess. Time travel is scary. *hides behind pine tree.* With a lot of thought and careful planning, though, it’s very enjoyable to read! @northerner Ugh, the password thing is no fun, but congratulations on your word count! *throws more pine needles.*

I’m not 100% set on one specific theme, but I’m thinking belonging, family, trust, and loyalty are some of the big ones 🙂

@j-a-penrose My most recent idea is to someday do a sci-fi novel about kids who are born from time-traveling parents who are each from different timelines, and the costs and effects of that. Still working on the plot, though. This won’t be done for years.
BUT, I finally published the novel I wrote when I was 13!! Just look up “The Hunted Past” on…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose No holidays sadly. 🙂 Just moving in two weeks… *cringes*
Anyways…
I have an idea but I’m afraid that is all it is. About a year ago someone told me about the word “defenestration.” (Look it up. XD) Ever since I have wanted to write a short story with that as the title. Thinking through it, maybe at the end there’s a choice…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose here’s mine, a sudden flash of inspiration that I plan to put in Oath (hope to, at least):
Three rings.
Three exquisite rings adorn his fingers, one for each time I betrayed my sacred trust.
The one on his pointer finger is sapphire, the golden band embracing the jewel like a friend. My eyes burn as I look away, remembering…

@j-a-penrose No problem…I know those kinds of weeks far too well!
Ahh, cool! I was thinking of doing that in my WIP. There is a big event that happened when my MC was a puppy that effects a lot in his life, and knowing about it could destroy his relationship with a character he depends on (who does know about it and might be afraid of him…[Read more]

I rise from my seat at the foot of a pine tree when I hear the whirring of dragon wings. I smile and hold out my hands, and he drops the letter and waves. Eagerly I tear it open and skim over the text. I dip my stick pen in lorvilberry ink and scribble a reply on a parchment.

I tap my chin with my feather pen, rubbing my nose when it gets too close. I try to rack my brains and think of ways Parimi Alca could be made better. Suddenly, inspiration hits, and I brighten, then scribble onto my stationary the following words:
Hello, Jess! Thanks for inviting me to partake in this survey! If I had one suggestion, and only…[Read more]

First of all, I’d like to say thanks for what you’ve done for the Parimis so far. It feels like a family, haha. 😂😂😂
