I rise from my seat at the foot of a pine tree when I hear the whirring of dragon wings. I smile and hold out my hands, and he drops the letter and waves. Eagerly I tear it open and skim over the text. I dip my stick pen in lorvilberry ink and scribble a reply on a parchment.

Dear Jess,

Thank you for being an awesome Guildmaster that makes us laugh. I have filled out the form and sent it to Headquarters. My messenger dragon assures me that he brought it to the right place. Hopefully he’s right. I agree with Cassie…competitions within the Guild would be fun. It might help us learn what each other’s strengths and weaknesses are, which would help during the Wars and show us how we can help each other.

*realizes “help” has been used three times in one sentence, but can’t change it because lorvilberry ink is permanent and there’s no parchment left. In the words of Bronwyn Silverfoot, “I hope you don’t mind.”* 

It’s been an epic experience so far! I’ve had so much fun! I’m looking forward to spending more time with my awesome fellow guildlings! Onward!
