I tap my chin with my feather pen, rubbing my nose when it gets too close. I try to rack my brains and think of ways Parimi Alca could be made better. Suddenly, inspiration hits, and I brighten, then scribble onto my stationary the following words:

Hello, Jess! Thanks for inviting me to partake in this survey! If I had one suggestion, and only one, because the guild can’t be any better than it already is, I would suggest having a weekly challenge/contest of writing within the guild itself. People could write paragraphs with focuses on one major aspect of writing, and then critique each other’s work at the end of the week, with the weekly “king” or “queen” Parimi being chosen by the guild leader. It would encourage interaction between guild members, as well as practice and learning in writing.

I grin, satisfied with my work. Then I whistle for my steampunk dragon, hand it the rolled-up letter, and send it off to Parimi Alca Headquarters.
