Sorry for taking so long to reply, life’s been life.
@ethryndal (Your tag sounds like a hybrid of a mint flavor and an elf name. No offence)
1.) Why do you want to start a blog? It was suggested by the folks over at The Young Writer.
2.) What do you want it to be about? I don’t really know… Whatever comes to mind, I guess.
3.) What do you h…[Read more]

@wireless-blade What exactly do you need help with? How to add pictures/find free stock photos? What to write in your posts? Design elements? What pages to add? Which theme to use? Decision making? It could help if you described your situtation a bit more.
I shall tag some more exprienced people too.

@thewirelessblade, yeah, like @ethryndal said, checking out personality types may help.
I have this one character, Wilton Thurlow, who I wanted to be the ‘old wise man,’ because I just felt like I just had to have one. But that may have been a bit cliché, so I added a funny characteristic to him: he likes strawberry jam.
But as I continued, I c…[Read more]

@salome01w4g Hello it’s been so long since I’ve read you!
Yes I do that… What I have to do is try and force myself to not edit it as I write. What helps a little bit is if I just work on that one chapter without going back to other chapters. I guess this mindset helps *because I have finished them they should not be edited until the next draft…[Read more] -

@ethryndal @kate Right?! Truth truly is stranger than fiction.
@daeus-lamb You’re exactly right in interpreting what I wrote. Just so you know, the part that tripped you up also makes me pause for a few seconds. It seems so counter-intuitive. But as we think further, it becomes clear that symbolic elements/themes about God/salvation/Messiah can…[Read more]

@kate Yes, it’s a very new project. I love my trilogies, but I think with a lot of thought and investment, I can come up with something even better. It will definitely be in another world, not this one.
@karthmin I appreciate the deep thought! I think the crux of what you said actually lies at the point that confused me.
In fact, there is…

Hey guys, it’s me.
Time to make a splash. I want y’all’s opinions on allegory vs symbolism.
Here’s what happened recently. I noticed a while ago that Tolkien and Sanderson had something in common. They both took years to develop their masterpieces before they even sat down to write them. So two days ago I decided to actually start on what I’ve…[Read more]

@mariposa, the details in your drawings are amazing!
And @martina, I just have to say, your frog painting is so good. I really like it! 🙂
I’m new to the forum, but I’m also an artist. Here’s one of my pen drawings:

Well here’s the dealio.
