@sageinthemeadow oooh, I love the sound of your WIP! I haven’t read much mystery/thriller books, but I wouldn’t mind reading yours 😀
@emgc wow, seven siblings? But I only have one so I always think more than that is a lot XD How long have you been playing piano and cello for?
@emma twelve instruments is a lot 😉 What are each of them?

@filewriter Thank you! Yes, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is one of my very favorite movies! And the book series is even better. 😊
And thanks for your offer! I will definitely keep that in mind. I’m still pretty new to writing, so I’m sure I’ll be needing some help. 😀
Nice meeting you! 👋

Hey Ereki!
We’re moving along with our annual theme of conflict and will be focusing more on external conflict for a while now. If you’re new to Erekdale, you’re welcome to go back and read through all the previous topics on internal conflict. But now… onward to external conflict!

Good morning, everyone! Time to make some goals… I’m also going to be changing up our accountability here a bit so it’s more “accountability” and not just “make goals;” On Thursdays I’m going to be checking in and asking how your progress is going and do some cheering if you need it 😉
My goals for this week are:
– make sure my plot matches…[Read more]

@emma Hello and welcome! I love music too, though I only play guitar; mostly I play my voice! That’s neat that you can play so many instruments. Which one is your favorite to play?
I’ve never been on a missions trip. I do pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes with my family but that’s all missions related . . . besides praying for…[Read more]

Hi! Welcome! I’m Skye 🙂
It’s so awesome you’re writing a book set in the 1870’s! That’s like, my favorite era of history. In fact, the past three years I’ve went on a week long authentic wagon train experience (sans the high chance of death)(most days). So, if you have any questions about concerning some of that stuff – like driving…[Read more]

If you can find a Mountain Ocarina for sale, that would be amazing! They are no longer in production, and I don’t know where you might find a used one.
Yeah… It is pretty cool that he’s going. Besides, when he leaves we get his car!
Oh cool! It’s a really fun genre!

@emma-starr That’s great! Stepping Heavenward is my mom’s favorite, so she had each of me and my sisters read it for school. And now it’s one of my favorites!
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of The Candymakers, but maybe I should look into that! Did you read The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict? It’s also amazing.

Hi @emma,
It’s so awesome that you joined! First off, I have to say that I love music, too. I only play piano, recorder, and a bit of guitar, apart from singing, but it’s neat that you have so many that you play. I also love historical fiction – I both read it and write it. Sorry for barging in to your other conversation, but I just have to…[Read more]

@emma Hello fellow Emma! 😉 We have some similarities in loving chocolate, kids, writing, books, and music. I am planning to major in piano performance in college, and I also love to sing and play handbells on the side.
I’m not that good at writing either…but I’m learning a lot. Your story sounds cool!

My favorite instrument would probably be cello- I love it’s high tones and low tones, it’s smoothness, and the feeling of the vibration of the strings against my bow… yeah, I’m a little obsessed too. 😉 But the instrument I’m (probably) best at would be piano- it’s a much easier to play instrument, and there’s a lot I can do with it.

Hi @emma!
It’s wonderful to meet you. 😊
You play ten instruments?!?! That’s awesome! I play cello, piano, and am just starting violin. Music is probably one of my favorite pastimes. What other instruments do you play?
Historical Fiction is one of my favorite genres to read. Have you ever heard of G.A. Henty? I love his books! Especially, p…[Read more]
