Yay, another guitar lover. Nylon or steel string?
You can’t play chords? At all? What type of music to you play then?

Yes, Andrew Peterson’s stuff is great. I actually learned how to play Matthew’s Begots on guitar.
Yes, guitar is great like that.
I play all sorts of things. For piano I do some classical, some soundtracks, and sometimes a hymn. For example right now I’m playing My Heart Will Go On, a duet of…[Read more]

Cool! I listen to K-love and Air 1. I like Jeremy Camp too and I really like Austin French 🙂 😛 ! I also like Kristian Stanfill, Chris Tomlin, Catie Hurst and SOME Owl City. . . who BTW has instrumental music. (I mostly just listen to his Christian music though, and then sometimes the instrumental)

Whoops! It’s obviously been too long since I’m been on here… 😉
I’ve played the piano for about 5 years (I’m currently about to enroll in classical lessons) and I received my guitar for my birthday, last December, and have been taking lessons since January.
Of Austin French I’ve really only…[Read more]

*finally gets around to actually commenting* Hi! I adore music and I’ve been singing in choir for about eleven years. My whole family is musical, which is really cool.
Writing music: Y’all have mentioned a lot of what I listen to. Owl City, Two Steps from Hell, Piano Guys… I also listen to some more secular stuff for certain stories where the…[Read more]

YES!!! I love their Christian stuff. And their voices are amazing. Yeah, he has a really good voice!!! I know, it frustrates me when they do that. I mean I don’t mind the secular songs that are good, but when they’re questionable ones that’s kinda sad.
Hey! Nice to meet you 🙂
Haha, who doesn’t…[Read more]

@elisha-starquill Wow, that would be really cool! If you ever do remember to tell me somehow because I would want to read it. (:
Adults honestly have the most interesting conversation… I remember when I was ten-ish I would want to sit and listen to them but my friends would get so annoyed cause they just wanted to go play with the dress-up.…[Read more]

I love it! I was trying to figure out what you were describing through the majority of the poem (a storm?) and then the plot twist… XD XD I love how you write it!

@morreafirebird Wow that’s crazy.
I find things like that often happen in my poetry, but it has yet to happen in one of my stories. About a year I had a friend who was struggling with letting go of something and so I wrote a simple small poem about it for him, though I never ended up sharing it and pretty much forgot about it until my best…[Read more]

I hope to do that soon enough. If you do, please feel free to…[Read more]

@elisha-starquill @april-j-rhys Hello! I’m posting this to let you know that I’ve finished editing the first book of the Chronicles of Origin, Ashen Blaze. If either of you are able to beta-read, please let me know and I’ll send you a link to the doc. 😀
-
That’s great news! Send me the link! 😀
-
YES!. *fistpumps* Thank you so much for letting me know, Ariella! So, I have already promised I’d do two other stories first. *wince* BUT they are short. Ish. So, I WILL get back to you on this asap. 😉

-
ACK! *gasps* I’m finally back here and I’m gonna read the first chapter tonight! 😀 #solookingforwardtothis Do you have any major questions or anything you’d like me to especially look out for while reading? Apologies again for the delay. :]

Sure, definitely! 😀 I’m still only on the third chapter though–ran into some scheduling turbulence so to speak. Can’t wait to read more though. I left several comments on the doc…did those come through?
-
@april-j-rhys Yes, those comments did come through! Thank you so much! I haven’t gotten around to replying to them, but I did read them.

Guys, I’m so proud of you!
It was really nice to come back from a week of injections, hospital trips, conferences, and essays (legit. It should not be legal to assign teenagers with thirteen essays to do in five days. *dramatic sob*) and to find that you had gotten on with writing, and had done an a.m.a.z.i.n.g job at it. So proud. Okay guys, I’m finished! I tried my best, but I’m still not sure if the end brought out the beauty of the hands enough. I put it at the end of the doc (it starts on page four), so please go ahead and edit and suggest away! I tried to keep a lot of the original in it, but I might have missed some good sections, so feel free to add them back in.…[Read more]

@elisha-starquill Could you hold off until I finish? I’m trying to work with what we already have, and it’s a little confusing when it’s changing in front of me. When I’m done, we could both post ours and compare to see which one’s best.
