Okay guys, I’m finished! I tried my best, but I’m still not sure if the end brought out the beauty of the hands enough. I put it at the end of the doc (it starts on page four), so please go ahead and edit and suggest away! I tried to keep a lot of the original in it, but I might have missed some good sections, so feel free to add them back in. (Also, I changed the character to a girl; I felt like a girl would be more likely to find the beauty in her grandmother’s hands than a boy, and for this particular situation I felt that I could more easily identify with a girl.)

@elisha-starquill Do you want to put in yours now? Hopefully between the three versions, we can pull out the best parts of each and get the story uniformed and edited tomorrow afternoon in time to be submitted Monday. We should talk about which version we want to go with, and then focus our edits on that one. Part of the reason I wanted to start with a clean, fresh version is that the edits were getting a little crazy, and Jess might not be around to resolve them right away (I think she usually takes a break on Sundays, and it’s currently Sunday morning down in Australia).
