@rebekah-elizabeth I believe that the way traditional publishing works is that first you find an agent, who will then contact a publisher for you. There’s probably other people in this forum who know more than me, though.

@melodyjoy I like your writing voice! It’s very clear and consistent. One thing that I think would help is, since you’re writing in first person, I don’t think there’s any needs to bring in italicized thoughts. Just change them to more inner monologue. I think that would smooth it out. Otherwise, nice job! 🙂

@arindown That sounds like an awesome neighborhood, would live in ten out of ten. Would it be in any way similar to Ray Bradbury’s Green Town series? (I think it’s called Green Town…not sure)

See, there’s more than one gang in Heather Flights (it gets very crowded) and they all run different types of illegal businesses or what-not (casinos, money laundering, making ripoffs, etc, etc, etc honestly depends on who you are) and the regular residents who have the disease are afraid of the mafia. @eden-anderson Haha I try not make things too scary… I’m usually very self-unaware when it comes to the content I’m writing, actually.

@arindown I would say while there is some action, it’s centered more around Micah and his brother’s relationship, as well as their relationship with the drug dealers. Maybe a bit more of a crime drama.
