The Fledgling Artist

How are you guys doing? I know it’s a crazy time of year. Anything that needs prayer?

@the-fledgling-artist @chalice

It’s from a book by Rebecca Reynolds called Courage, Dear Heart. I listened to the audiobook recently and loved it. I highly recommend it if you are a fan of Creative non-fiction.

@the-fledgling-artist Ah, never mind, don’t go with the flower theme. Bookish if possible. (:

@the-fledgling-artist Yay!!! 😀 I’m glad I made your day, friend. xD <3

Okay, so, yes, I would like for it to be colored, and traditional if possible. Basically I just want the watercolor effect, so traditional or digital is fine, though like I said, traditional is preferred. Do you have any examples of watercolor pieces I can see? I know there’s…[Read more]

@kari-karast But I was suspicious of you–and your fake hot chocolate–first.

@the-fledgling-artist I wouldn’t be so sure about that.

@selah-chelyah

I’m officially confused now but okay.

@the-fledgling-artist

-winks- Shhhhh.

@the-fledgling-artist Hey, I have a question. Could I somehow pay you to draw something for me? I’m not sure how I could… maybe we could do an art exchange, in full color? Or do you or your parents have a PayPal or something? Because I have been wanting to change my profile image from Princess Zelda haha. xD I’d also like to use it for my blog…[Read more]

Thank you! Appreciate the scripture verse as well. The Lord did indeed have his hand over us…so grateful!

@the-fledgling-artist, Yay! That’s wonderful! 🙂 Oh, I totally understand. I’ve been really getting into setting goals lately, because I struggle so much with procrastination, but I’ve also been learning a lot about accepting grace when I fail.

Yes, I’m doing twelve illustrations for the book. So I’m almost 1/4 of the way…[Read more]

@ashira

True… but that hasn’t really stopped it from being overrun by girls… or all this craziness from happening. You could always just be our silent ally. Like @the-fledgling-artist Moral support. 🙂 😉

@the-fledgling-artist What’s the Gallery?

@the-fledgling-artist – Thanks! Yup, I do pencil sketches, acrylic painting, colored pencil scenes, just a bit of everything, but not that great at anything.

@ashira – Yeah, I wasn’t referring to that one specifically. Just in general when you have a part.

@the-fledgling-artist

Thank you!

Ohhhh, yeah, that makes sense! I just didn’t want the collage to be too dismal and I wanted to add some color…but that makes sense what you said.

Nope, I don’t have a Pinterest account…but I can still stalk. 😜 *doesn’t really know why she admitted to that*

*cough*

Okay, thanks so much for the input! I…[Read more]

Brilliant! Danke! Thank-you so much! He is wonderful!

@the-fledgling-artist

Hey! Anybody’s welcome here, you included… but as to whether you want to stick around, well of that there may be some doubt. 😉 (In fact I’m surprised there’s people still commenting on this thread after @evelyn and mine’s…uh…crazy rabbit trail. 😆)

I think I agree with you for the most part…although I was talking…[Read more]

@Dakota, thank you!

@the-fledgling-artist, okay. I am planning to write a little book full of multiple little mystical animal stories…

@the-fledgling-artist

Okay!

-smirks- We shall change that soon enough. -wants to go home to drink tea so badly right now in real life-

@kari-karast @selah-chelyah @the-fledgling-artist @theinconceivable1

Ahhh, and so it begins! The Rebellion.

My friends, long have I awaited the day when we, the believers in this beloved beverage-TEA-would rally together to bring justice to those who heaped such grievous insults upon TEA! But alas! I did not desire to see it come to pass like…[Read more]
