Hey folks, I’m new to story embers but I just thought I would make this thread to connect with some fellow guys! Not to be picky but its just I’ve found the writing world seems to be 80% female so I thought it would be good to get to know male writers for a change XD. So ya, girls your free to jump in, but if your a guy please say high and prove to me I’m not alone!

Thanks! I fall between intermediate and advanced. I took the test when I joined SE and got intermediate. I took it again today and got advanced.
Do you have a blog, or anything of the sort? If not I’d recommend you start one. I’ve found it extremely helpful. Last January I started mine and made a commitment to write a new short story every month, and succeeded (one turned out to be a short poem). It was only last month that I had to take a break from that.

@wordsmith: hey cool! good to know there are more of us out there! Are they on much? Unfortunately, I only know princess bride quotes XD! Wow nice! How long have you been writing and doing your blog? No I dont have a blog, I think its a cool idea, probably would give me the motivation I so often lack, but If I did do one I would want to code it myself. I dabble in HTML, CSS and a little Java script so I think it would be a cool project incentive! I just cant code it right now, final exams are coming up here in the distant world of NZ and I would really like good grades! I read your two superhero storeys, A little confused at which came first but I think “the static touch” is a really cool idea. Could tell by how you responded to the comments you had put a lot of work into crafting each sentence, again well done! Any advice for me? Taylor read one of my storys and the feedback gave me the push I needed to start actually learning how to write. So far I’ve just kinda been running of inspiration and experience you know… But ya, any advice is welcomed!

ENFJ-THey! My score is 65. I’m an expert it says. I don’t think I’m so good, but anyways I’m fifteen. How about you? What genres do you write? I write mystery, thriller, adventure, romance, fantasy, and more but my primary genres are Mystery, thriller, adventure.

I’ve had the blog since January of this year, but I’ve been writing from a young age… just not all the time. I really got back into it in 2016 when I did NaNoWriMo.
And it’s really cool that you do coding! I don’t, and really have no great wish to… though might find it fun. And I pray you do well on the final exams!
Thanks! I really have fun writing, and sentence set up is one of my favorite parts of writing.
As for advice… I would say write, get feedback from people, do NOT throw away old work, and keep writing. That’s my short answer. Also don’t be afraid to ask questions that my seem silly.

@warrenluther04: *reads post and blinks twice. Reads post again and furrows brow. Scrolls up to read his own personality type. Facepalms* ok I’m sorry but I accidentally lied XD. “Let me explain… no no, there is too much let me sum up.” (had to stick a princess bride quote in their!) So I was reading a post, your post actually, and I realized some people put their personality types as part of their end tag thing and I was like “hey thats a really cool Idea!” so I quickly edited my end card to include my personality type… which tuned out to be a mistype. I don’t know how I did it but somehow I accidentally put ‘F’ instead of ‘T’. Maybe I was just dreaming of being an INFJ (it is a REALLY cool personality type) IDK but I lied, accidentaly as it may be…I am not the rarest personality type in the world, I am a “INTJ- A” the third rarest *holds up a bronze medal and sighs* O well at least on the 16personaitys website I’m the only type with an extra block of information called “emotions”! (is that a good thing or a bad thing? You know the more I think about it the more it seems like a bad thing cuz that means I know less about my emotions then any other personality type. So much so they thought it was necessary to ADD an extra block of info just to help people with my personality deal with their huge lack of understanding. Unfortunately, it may be true XD) Alright any way the point is I’m sorry, I lied to you, please forgive me! However, you do have a pretty cool personality type (and extraverted INFJ) which I actually know very few of so its nice to meet you! How old are you and, on a scale of 1 to 10 how’s your day going?
@parker: WOW! let me do some quick math here… *plays jeopardy music* do you realise your five points away from a perfect score! How? I’m 17 and I’m a novice! Ahrg… that’s frustrating. do you have a website? I would like to read your work and see what an expert writer looks like! I dont know what genre I write… Just midevil stuff usually. Defidently not romance though, that seems like a challenging genre if you ask me. oh, could you share an adventure short story?
