Nithel’s brows furrowed when a girl approached him. Then he felt awful when she knew his name as well, and his eyes saddened. I don’t know her. Nithel nods once, slowly, “I am Nithel,” son of Father. I am the son of my father.
He wanted to ask for her name, but didn’t want to betray he didn’t remember her. “I-” He took a small step back, then…[Read more]

Lupa growled as the walls shifted and changed and she stared after her wolf friend as she was sucked away and reappeared in a cathedral of sorts with everyone else.
Huffing, annoyed, and wanting to go home, she shook out her fur and shifted back into a human. Tossing her dark hair over her shoulder she moved to the front of the gathered people…[Read more]

The boy was clearly uncomfortable, unsure what to say or do. He was just a bit older than Nithel’s daughter, maybe the same age. Nithel’s lips didn’t change, but a partial smile touched his eyes. Relax. All Nithel’s troubles still vied for attention in the back of his mind, and he didn’t know how he was able to give the smile. At least… you…[Read more]

No. Nithel’s stomach twisted as the walls gave way, and different things took their place. He wanted to shut his eyes, but he didn’t think it was a good idea. Not when anyone could do anything.
Dragon. He had a faint remembrance of the dream that had put them in his knowledge. He’d told tales with the giant lizards as villains many a time since…[Read more]

Malvat stared – four newcomers, all at once. The first two were obviously brother and sister, obviously nervous and disoriented, and obviously not able to guard their thoughts (Denali?). Evie and Dominic, if he read their minds correctly. Evie would be hard to manipulate – her dislike of animals was clear in some of her memories. But Dominic… he…[Read more]

Nithel breathed in and out, trying to catch his breath. Trying to understand. Had he fallen in a pit? Unlikely. Voices. Stone ground.
He felt at his side to make sure his sword was still strapped to him. Someone was talking to him. Voice kind. He didn’t know if he believed in kindnes- But no, he did. Nithel pushed his chest up a bit, then his…[Read more]

Alessio had been so preoccupied with…well everything, he didn’t notice Jericho until her touch made him flinch. Why couldn’t he just stop flinching at everything…Her hand was warm, after everything it made him want to just let himself fall apart like there was nothing else to worry about. So tired of trying to suppress everything to keep functio…[Read more]

Yeah, my mom’s unofficially diagnosed all of us for ADHD but doesn’t like the idea of medication for that so I just started studying up when I was old enough (read “when I had a character with ADHD and went through twenty different posts like ‘THIS IS NOT NORMAL!?!?!?!?!’”)
Huh, he and Alessio wou…[Read more]

Excuse the title, I couldn’t think of a good one and I figured that would make you want to click here more than anything. Let’s face it, your curiosity is what brought you here isn’t it?
So back in July the topic of the weekly newsletter, was discussing a question. The question was sent in by a young girl with a gift. Aka, ME. The question was…[Read more]

@skylarynn Hey! Heard ADHD and self-medicating being talked about! I am 95% certain I have ADHD, and I can’t get diagnosed (that I’ve found out, at least) without parental consent (which I’m not sure I can get – long story), since I’m a minor. So I’m trying to figure out how to self-medicate. I’ve tried coffee and tea but they don’t work all that…[Read more]

I’ve been self-medicating with coffee or tea when I need to wind down.
Cool! Self-medications work a lot better than others, in my
not very broadexperience. 😛You just haven’t put enough sugar and cream in it yet.
So they say. But my best friend forced me to try coffee she had made for me that was literally 80% creamer (like it was…[Read more]

Ooh, on that note, did you know that coffee calms people with ADHD down? Apparently the caffeine in there works oppositely when you have ADHD! *would almost drink coffee just to experience that, but coffee is too utterly disgusting to actually do that*

Lupa–who had shrunk her wolf form, slipped through bars, and then returned to normal size again–glared at Alessio through the bars, her yellow wolf eyes narrowed. She bared her teeth and shook her head, disgusted at the idea of keeping such a creature confined.
I’m going to free this creature and let myself out. Follow me if you can. She…[Read more]

Alessio catches Malvat conversing with Lupa who…in one of the cages? Uh sure, whatever, doesn’t even make the top thousand weird and traumatic events of the day. It’s productive… probably

“What door should we choose?” Alessio, the Bearer of Fire, said. Malvat could see the rage seething in his thoughts and decided that now was not the best time to appear callous. (Cathy: IKR?!?!? There would have been a Dragon vs. FireBoy duel right then and there. XD)
Ignoring the girl who crept up behind Alessio and began murmuring to him, Mal…[Read more]
