thank you! @lin @the-fledgling-artist

@parker @e-b-raulands @pookiemonster @pursuewisdomYou’ve been tagged because I said (indirectly) that I’d continue this story when stuff happened. It did. And it seemed to have a conclusive ending. But let me start from the beginning, just in case there’s anyone…[Read more]

@lin, Oh, thank you! I’m glad it made you smile!
@the-fledgling-artist, Yes, I used a black sharpie for the outline and some of the shading, and colored pencil for the color.
@evelyn, Thank you! I really like your drawing of the map. That’s an awesome idea! What did you use to do the lettering?
Ooh, and I like your zentangle waves. So pretty!…[Read more]

Aw, thanks!
@evelyn Thank you! Of course I don’t care! 😛 I didn’t really like the way the waves turned out…I feel like the water could have looked a lot cooler than it did. Also, I wish I wouldn’t have colored the castle and the rock all the same color.
@the-fledgling-artist @ashira @lin Thanks! 😀

This poem is so wonderful <3 I would agree with Katherine that I just have to keep reading it because it’s so full of life and joy and wonder 🙂
There are a few places that are a bit rough on the tongue – Katherine covered most of them, so I’ll just mention a few more. But I do have to say that overall, the mood you captured in the p…[Read more]

I feel like I’m arriving late to the party. 🙂
First off, wow! Your poem was so good! Sweet and innocent, but still filled with deeper meaning. I love it! I know you’ve been saying you’re Dutch, so is English a second language? If it is, that makes your poem all the more impressive.
I won’t try to duplicate efforts with @evelyn too much, b…[Read more]

*Raises hand* I join the two of you as another poet wannabe. I am more of wanting to write poetry to be sung (Tolkien style songs) that I can put into my books, but I have been thinking more about this lately.
Great job!! You successfully made all of that more clear than my school has ever done. I’ll have to go…[Read more]

@lin Awesome! Okay, so maybe I should make a goal, like @sarah-inkdragon said, to make a completed piece of artwork every week and make a habit of at least drawing every day, because I would like to improve. (: Also, how did you make art your career? Do you illustrate children’s books for a living (because if so that is amazing!)? For someone who…[Read more]
