That’s so awesome! What are their names, and what are they like?
The horse is a red-roan paint Quarter Horse named Roxy (personally I don’t like that name, but what can you do? *shrugs*); the mule is sorrel with a blonde mane and tail, her name is Cassie; the donkey is really fat and named Sassafras (Sassy for short), she a…[Read more]

Also, if you work with horses for any length of time, you literally teach yourself not to scream when you get scared, and it becomes a habit. (If y’all ever need that for a character XD)
Wait, do you work with/own horses? I love horses! My family has one, plus one pony, one mule, and one donkey. XD
Also, I was thinking a…[Read more]

No one answered her question right away, although the princess’ voice drifted into the room: “Gav?! Could you give me a hand? I found something!”
“I, I dunno,” Dancrow stuttered in reply. Riure smiled in his direction as Prince Gavril’s heavier footsteps exited the room, wondering why he was so nervous. Oh. He probably was having trouble tal…[Read more]

I forgot about Cara!! She’s pretty awesome!
And I found Solo… disappointing. The person playing Solo kept trying to do the mouth thing that’s Han’s trademark, and failing. And there was a lot of kissing and sexual stuff. But… yeah? The villain was pretty cool, and there were these, like, laser knives that were so cool.

Riure cocked her head, listening as someone took a seat and the prince made some comforting, sympathetic noises. She could imagine him wincing.
“When did you say this happened? You haven’t been gone that long.”
So then it was Princess Liorah who he was addressing. Probably.
“About… three or four hours, I guess,” she answered, clipped accent ri…[Read more]

Ooh, that sounds cool! I’ve never had 1st person happen to me, although I have gone out of my body and watched me do stuff *cough cough* lose a swordfight and get killed for my trouble *cough cough*
Have you ever died by falling in a dream? I’ve heard that it’s pretty common, and when you wake up you feel like you just…[Read more]

Ooh, great idea!! Let’s totally do that (and maybe Sprinkles comes to life and acts as their guide? Crazy idea, but it might make Ehud so happy that he could blame Sprinkles for stuff and he actually might be able to prove it, lol)!!
Honestly, I love the topic of dreams. I tend to remember my dreams…[Read more]

Virtus turned to run with the others, but he couldn’t help glancing back just once to see what their leader was doing.
There was a flash, then the archway crumbled into a pile of rubble. Virtus restrained a surprised yelp and sprinted faster, through an opening and into a dark, arched-ceilinged tunnel. No windows.
“That should tie him up for a…[Read more]

Good idea, Cathy!! Virtus… hrm. Virtus would probably be like, let’s eat it, but he’d probably just be saying that to tease the girls and make the guys think he’s “tough” or whatever they say stuff like that for, and in reality feel bad about killing it but not bad enough that he wouldn’t do it. So… yurp?

Lol, thank you! I actually do that for fun… I think it’s fascinating how much you can tell a person/how easily you can identify a person by their footsteps. 😉
And yes, Dancrow is permanently The Hunk of Coal in my world. XD

Usually when I write I feel like I’m just writing what I would do or how I would feel (of course my feeling are wrong, because I know if I saw any of the monsters from the mirror I would scream and run for my life).
Lol, IKR?! In my dreams I’m always heroic (albeit probably a bit misled/reckless), whereas in real life if someone scares m…[Read more]

Ooh! *waves hand* I do!! I had this really crazy (and actually really fun) dream a few nights ago where I was walking down this INCREDIBLY long spiral staircase, and for every stair, there was an archway. (The stairway is in like a pit or something so the openings are across a large gap, set in the stone wall). Once I managed to throw something…[Read more]

“Good morning. Or evening. Does anyone know?” Something fluttered against Riure’s cheek, and she smiled.
“Late afternoon, where I came from,” Prince Gavril responded, his tone polite. Riure felt her eyebrows lift. He didn’t seem surprised to see a small flying man perching on her shoulder.
“Now let us see who the new folks are,” Master Ziess sai…[Read more]

Ooh, is it the story you shared in the Flabbit Room? The one where I thought the one kid died? And he was adopted, and they had the cool axes, and all that really random stuff I remember? XD

“I’ll fight it, sir, if you order me to.” The lad sounded like he had given up. “It would give you enough time to escape.”
“You won’t fight alone,” Nithel replied, firm. He was staring at the lad, and Virtus noted the swirl of emotion in his eyes.
Virtus really wanted to say something, but he just straightened his back and turned his eyes on Isa…[Read more]

The Hobbit movies are good depending on how much you like movie directors to stick to the original story. My sister, when she first watched them, said that she liked it when directors do that because they basically create a whole new story and you don’t always know what is going to happen. Now she wishes they’d stuck to the story…[Read more]
