@a_small_mousepad I love that idea! Everything could seem fine to start off with then as it progresses there could be more and more details that show there’s something wrong.

@a_small_mousepad ahhh yes yes great idea! It gives the innocent tone of a child, but also shows the readers that there’s actually way more going on than the character realises.

@a_small_mousepad ah, yep, that’s a tough one.

You could go with dropping in the colour with an action. Like in the “scratching his hand through his black hair” example. Something like “scratching his bronze/green/cherry-red hand through his hair” would be an effective way of doing that. Or if hair isn’t an option, you can have an action like…[Read more]
