The Fledgling Artist

Yes!! I love making cards. I have some watercolor paper cards that I’ll be sending and I currently also enjoy carving stamps like this one I did some days ago.

@the-fledgling-artist You make stamps too? That’s awesome! I really like how yours turned out.

@professorsjb O I love them! Especially the top one. I really like the colors on top of…[Read more]

I don’t do Instagram, but I started twitter. I also have Tumblr, since I know more artists on there. On a completely different note, James Riley is awesome!

@the-fledgling-artist

as a matter of fact, I just got my Christmas cards that got made! I quite like the look of it. I also drew a Birthday card as a side. I think you can order it somewhere but I forgot where…LOL

@the-fledgling-artist, Maybe a little. I’m also trying not to be overwhelmed because I’m working on a couple other projects too. Oh, thank you so much for your encouraging words. I had a little bit of a rough start this evening, but I took some time to refocus and afterward I really felt God’s peace as I worked. So I’m really grateful for that. 🙂

@lin, Here’s my version of Lea. Sorry the lighting isn’t the best. 😛 Her story sounds super interesting! I really like how you drew her. 🙂

And @the-fledgling-artist, I just had to sketch Mira. I really like her design. 🙂

@the-fledgling-artist

Hmm. -looks at you suspiciously- Alright… (Good? I think. Maybe.)

@the-fledgling-artist, I’m going to (hopefully) get started on my sketch for the fourth illustration tonight! *Tries not to hyperventilate.*

We don’t need a location, but you can still bring in your 2nd character if you want.

-takes deep breath- Okay. So. We basically dropped our characters into a room without any exits without any idea of who the others were or how they got there. Then there was some… drama that ended up with us being in Vanice’s spaceship. Then…[Read more]

Ooh, cool! Yeah, I bet smaller families are really nice too.  My family seems to be gradually getting smaller as my older siblings are one by one moving out, though.  Which is kinda weird.  And now I’m next in my family to graduate.  Which is also really weird.

Sorry.  That was probably really unrelated… :P…[Read more]

I had WAY too much fun doing this. xD I dug deep to find these and when I say that, I mean it. I dug out a box in the back of my closest and rummaged through old journals from when I was seven and eight. These are the monsters I found…

Scarlet shook himself as they landed in the dessert terrain. Now this looked a bit like Ra’al. It was warm. Scarlet grinned, basking in the heat. “Eiri,” he called, seeing her a few feet away…[Read more]

@evelyn

Well, I’m a pack rat…so I still have like ALL the horrible pictures I’ve drawn.(and stories I’ve written) But I’ve also ripped up multiple pictures…some of which were just down right frightening.

I can’t wait to see the picture you come up…[Read more]
