Scarlet shook himself as they landed in the dessert terrain. Now this looked a bit like Ra’al. It was warm. Scarlet grinned, basking in the heat. “Eiri,” he called, seeing her a few feet away with her brother. He nearly tripped over Matz where he sat in the sand.

“This is a pain,” Matz sighed, head bowed. “I was not ready for a sojourn in the dessert. I have no choice though. This heat will ruin my curls,” he tossed his hair out of his eye, looking up at the surprised Scarlet.
