The Fledgling Artist

@eden-anderson

So I’ve been thinking about it more, and how to respond to the deadness feeling… because like you, Parimi Alca seemed to sag before the holidays.

First of all though…. @taylorclogston @pursue-wisdom Hey! I’m not the only one feeling this in our guild? Well, this is encouraging. 😀

@taylorclogston made a good point though……[Read more]

Thank you all so much! They should get here in the next day or two, Lord willing! Appreciate you all praying for them.

It is not @ashira, Eden. It is my middle-younger sister of three. 🙂

@ashira

Too late! 😛

Tyler hesitantly holsters his gun, a little disappointed there wasn’t a fight. “Okay, okay fine.” He eyes the other’s flaming sword. He wonders how convenient it would be for roasting marshmallows… he shakes his head, must stay focused. “My name’s Tyler X. I have no idea who Jake is, I just got here.” What was it with him and fire…[Read more]

*glares*

No need to rub it in.

@the-fledgling-artist

Sure, makes sense. I understand.

Are you familiar with Thriftbooks at all? It’s like an online used book store and it’s AMAZING!!! I really like, especially cause you can get books cheaper there then on Amazon. It’s really cool if you don’t mind buying used books.

@hgm_barnes18

Belial didn’t fight anyone… but I know the feeling… *glances at Kari and Kalsya who both deathglare back*

Are we gonna bring in the guides soon?

Would you rather… have to read for an hour every day or never be allowed to read?

Flynn: *ignores question*

Saidaron(villian): What a ridiculous question! Of course I would rather read for an hour. I’ve spent over half my life reading books and manuscripts and scrolls…I live and breathe literature.

Zitt: Huh? Books? Can’t read a single wor…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist Thank you (: I’ve been playing around with gouache for about a year and a half. But I did take huge breaks inbetween as I was struggling so much with it that I didn’t enjoy using it anymore. Last summer I decided to give it a try once again and I think I’ve finally gotten the hang of it!

@evelyn

Oh, that’s so fun! I love book-shopping at used book stores and thrift stores, you can find such awesome deals! I buy almost 99% of my books from thrift stores and it feels like such a steal when you find brand new books for a couple of dollars. Where do you buy your books? ( @the-fledgling-artist you too. 😉)

@the-fledgling-artist Hey guess what? I found a copy of Story Thieves at a used bookstore yesterday and grabbed it because of our conversation. I’ll have to tell you what I think of your favorite character. 😉

@the-fledgling-artist Thanks! No I didn’t use watercolors, though that’s the look the technique produces. 😀

I drew a pattern with just plain ole Crayola markers on a Ziploc bag, lightly sprayed it with water, and then stamped it on the card. It’s very fun. 🙂

@the-fledgling-artist Also I realized today I never got around to sharing pictures of my Christmas cards. Thankfully I had a couple left over and so I can show you them:

Sorry about that! 😛

@theclumsy_lamplighter

Belial – Only sun because he likes to see things and tell time and things like that. Life would just be harder without the simple benefits it provides.

Karra – Only sun because she misses it. You never know a good thing until it’s gone–or, more appropriately, until you’re gone.

Aw, you are such a dear! I’m so grateful for you too! I’ve loved getting into discussions with you and you have made me laugh many times as well.

Oh, uh…looks like Evelyn’s got you covered. 😉

Yeah… I don’t particularly want to know either… XD

But I’m glad it all worked out and you got them done though!

Eiri sighed. “When we figure out where we are we’ll let you know. Now, no one else wants a fight either. So why don’t we all just put our weapons away and be friends. Okay?” She found it ironic that she, who had been the instigator of a fight earlier, was now the one attempting to defuse one.

Ignoring his sister, Kor drew his sword as well.…[Read more]

Thank you. Yes, they’re my babies. 🙂 Actually, I call them pups, but they’re almost eight now…

@kari-karast

Oh, neat!  Wow, that is a lot.
Have you ever tried loom knitting? It’s a lot easier than regular knitting.

@selah-chelyah

Thank you. 🙂  I know the basics of crocheting and sewing, but that’s it. What kinds of things d…[Read more]

Henchman!? I beg to differ. I was 2nd in command. A General.

Also, I don’t believe Parker was really in the revolution that much but yes, he was a secret agent spy thingy.

@parker

Ha! I can understand that…

I’ll second that! -also raises cup of hot chocolate-
