Same as @silverclaw-bonnetfolly XD
I usually avoid em. 😉
@taylorclogston I also found the accents in those books annoying, especially the moles. Yeah, it sounded funny and all, and gave them quite the character and personality and he did a great job, but I still found it annoying and hard to read. 😛

@ariella-newheart Yeah, it would be a bit of a challenge. But then again, I think all the options would be pretty challenging, so I guess we have to pick our battle. 😛
Good point about having adults to set examples. That is definitely a huge part of a young child’s conversion, since they are depending on and looking up to the adults around them.…[Read more]

@silverclaw-bonnetfolly I like the first idea, but I could only see us writing a scene where the character is reading out of the Bible and has a lot of internal dialogue about the content of the verses. While it could still work, I’m not sure if it’s interesting enough.
@writercatherine Those are some great ideas! The thing about the fourth one…[Read more]

Hey, @silverclaw-bonnetfolly!
In addition to the podcast page, you can listen to the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, and TuneIn! We’re also currently in the process of putting it on Google Play (it should be up in less than two weeks). 🙂 If none of these options are available to you, let me know and I’ll see if I can get it somewhere more…[Read more]

@silverclaw-bonnetfolly Thanks for checking in! I don’t have to tell you to be careful of letting RP get in the way of productivity, but still make sure it doesn’t =P I think I read that same book of Marco Polo in school. Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys were never really my thing, but I loved Tom Swift and the Horatio Alger, Jr. books for boys.

@silverclaw-bonnetfolly No, I don’t think KP was intentionally taken down. Someone asked Josiah DeGraff about it, and he’d asked someone else about it and I don’t think anybody knows why it’s not working. 🙁

For those who don’t know, we are now starting to work together to post the annual theme discussion, and this time around, it’s on the exciting art of the Writing Life. This course/section won’t be super practical for right now, but maybe we can be using it later, and being sure to build up and appreciate the amazing relationships with other…[Read more]

It’s been forever since I’ve said anything. And agh I am so sorry.
This time, I was aware that I wouldn’t be about. However, in the hectic mess of life, I had assumed I had asked someone to step in until things at this end were sorted out. So, either I totally forgot to do that, or no one actually took it on and it got forever lost in the…[Read more]

@silverclaw-bonnetfolly That’s totally okay; I don’t expect you to devote your entire existence to this thing. That’s what having a whole group of beta-readers is supposed to help make up for. Just do whatever you feel like and are comfortable with. Hope you enjoy whatever amount you end up reading!

Screeeeeeeech!!!
Yikes. Don’t do that, Cassie. You’ll scare everybody away. And you can’t afford to do that. You need these people.
But why?
Because how else can you create the next greatest fantasy series if you don’t have a bunch of beta-readers giving feedback?
Hmm. You’re right. Scaring…[Read more]
