I’d second everything @pursuewisdom said! Don’t click on any links, especially since you don’t remember signing up, and mark it as spam.
You don’t want to accidentally install a bug on your computer. 😛

For the rest of the story I am thinking
He realizes that his impetuosity, lack of forethought, and loner mentality can endanger people and needs to be changed.
He realizes that he has put the rest of the Resistance in danger and tries to figure out a way to save them.
He realizes that the only way they won’t…[Read more]

@christlover Do you have a plan for the rest of the plot? If so, could you outline it briefly here? If not, could we start brainstorming ideas to help you finish it? We’re drawing near to the deadline, so it would be good for us to tie up the story so we can focus on editing for the last couple days.

As an introvert who lives in the middle of nowhere and is known for muttering, “humans” under her breath whenever she’s around other people, I have to say that I often find it hard to actually hang out with people…Even the writerly sort. I mean, what if they’re extroverts? What if there’s more than two of them?
Thankfully, Faith is here today…[Read more]

@pursuewisdom Well, most of what I write is action and adventure, so that’s better than I hoped. 😀
@serenity Thanks. I was wondering about the comment part. I’ll have to work on that.
@myclipboardismyviolin Hmm. Neat idea. The fact that I currently have three stories in one book could make that quite the juggling act, so I think I’ll at…[Read more]

@lin I KNOW!!! John Powell is sooooo awesome!!! I want to answer your question about TSFH… I will try to get to it because I have a couple thoughts that I want to hash out on paper, but I’ll do it later…
@pursuewisdom Thanks for the links! I’ll check those out, I’ve never done audiomachine before… And Eurielle…. Oh gracious me… Her…[Read more]

@everyone Wow, I guess writers tend to like the same kind of music XD Two Steps, BrunuhVille, Piano Guys, and lots of the rest I listen to as well! I’d have to say that Two Steps is my favorite though…
@pursuewisdom Yeah, I listen to audiomachine some too.

@christlover Yep! What Steward said. (If ever in doubt, scan over the instructions I put waaaay back at the start.) Also, I would assume you can describe other characters the same way you can for any other tense. Not going into their heads, but just writing them, yeah.
@pursuewisdom Oooh, also a cool idea. *adds to notebook*

@pursuewisdom Audiomachine is another one I listen to. I’ve heard (and enjoyed) a handful of Eurielle’s songs, but I haven’t had a chance to go through it all yet on Spotify. (When I discover a new artist I try to go through all of their music and save the songs I like so I can find them again without weeding through the songs I decided I didn’t…[Read more]

On that note…
If we haven’t started on a draft in 24 hours, I’m probably just going to start writing. Just so that we definitely have something to hand in. *fingerguns* Ideally, I let you guys write the first draft so that you can practice and grow, but having something happening is the no. 1 priority.
Volunteers,…[Read more]

As Christlover has said, guys, I reckon it’s time for us to get writing!
For all of you old-timers, (You’re over a year old, some of you. Yikes!) you should be pretty familiar with the routine, and it would be great if you keep things going smoothly through the rather chaotic drafting process that’s about to ensue.
The doc we’ll be writing in is…[Read more]

Hello Parimis!Â
While I’m here, I just wanted to thank you all for being so good with being active and commenting and helping each other out with things. I’m quite often not replying to things, and it’s just great to see you all doing it instead! <3
Moving on. Today’s lesson comes from my awesome cousin, Jane, who does a lot with editing,…[Read more]

@pursuewisdom *shuffles feet* The only 2nd POV book I’ve ever read was a choose-your-own adventure, so I’m not an expert either. I might try experimenting with it one day, though.
@coggleton That’s an interesting idea, but it seems like it could get really confusing. (I had to read your post a few times to fully understand what you were saying.…[Read more]

Alright, here’s an idea.
We’ve got a protagonist, antagonist, mentor, what not, right?
What if all of them were You? As in, the person referred to in the 2nd person? The plot could be You are an author who is going through a rough time while, on an unrelated note, working on a book. Then you get…[Read more]

Hello all!
If you haven’t seen our guild home page, you definitely should check it out. And I know that the running list of current members is completely wrong, but I plan to get Daeus onto that soon. (Or get his permission to let me fix it.)
However, what I want to draw your attention to, is that I’ve talked about ‘biomes.’ Back in our ‘[Read more]
