@noodle-mum, Yes, you must join the war! Fight for the fall of writer’s block. (Actually, I’m not really the one to talk, because I always seem to have the least amount of words. 😛 ) Aw, I want to be your friend too, so let me know where you need encouragement and I’ll try to give you some. 😉 Anyway, I just finished reading the first chapter of…[Read more]

Hey, I agree with Chalice on this; and I would highly encourage poetry. (If it seems daunting, don’t worry: it’s not. XD It’s like learning a new instrument. It just takes practice. And eventually, you might get the knack for it.) So yea, go ahead, take a break. Go get some coffee or a soda. Or just water, if you don’t like any of…[Read more]

@noodle-mum, Ah, that sounds like an awesome story idea! I really like it. 😀 Yes, I would love to hear the first chapter! (Also, I just have to say, Rayland is such a cool name. 🙂 )
I can totally relate to having tons of different projects. 😛 I haven’t developed most of them much, so for me it’s just a matter of what I really want to pour my…[Read more]

Hey Saxon Scribes,
Soooo… this doesn’t directly affect you, but I thought you should know. The guildmasters had a meeting and determined that the long-term logistics of running the guilds was just too much. It takes a lot of energy from us and there’s not a whole lot the guilds give that you can’t get elsewhere.
Now, we’re not shutting down…[Read more]

@noodle-mum, Hi! I’m Chalice. It’s nice to meet you. You’re on the New Wessex chat, right? 🙂 Oh, that’s an awesome theme! What are your favorite genres to write? I write fantasy/urban fantasy mostly and a bit of contemporary. I’ve been realizing lately how most of my stories share the theme of “unconditional/sacrificial love”.
Well, hey, sign…[Read more]

@noodle-mum, I kind of feel like I’m dealing with the same problem, so I don’t know if I can be very helpful, but here are my thoughts.
Maybe it’s just time to take a break for a while. Try something new, pick up a new hobbie, get some new experiences, meet new people. Or maybe stick with writing, but try a completely different kind of writing…[Read more]

Okay, prepare for a long post.
Most of my favorite book characters are similar. Here is a list of them.
Kalmar Wingfeather – Wingfeather Saga
Waxillum Ladrian – Mistborn the Wax and Wayne series
Wayne – Mistborn the Wax and Wayne series
Steris – Mistborn the Wax and Wayne series (yes, I know there should only be one from that…[Read more]

Yep! I’m working on poetry, besides the obvious. But particularly three projects that should show more prominent if I ever compile my poetry into a published book. So…yeah, I guess you could say I’m working on stuff. Besides this I’m working towards a goal that I set a while back: I need to finish at least one language before I…[Read more]

Thanks.
No, I’m not 23. I don’t really care for French. I love the smell and concept of Coffee, but, alas, have had only one encounter with it. Poetry is okay, but I’m really picky. Diagrams are cool. Love Marvel. I’m writing this on a DELL computer if that means anything. Um, sure? I don’t know who they are or anything…[Read more]

Hehe, yeaaaaaah tbh though, I’m not real proud of it. I just speed wrote it in two days and called it done without revising or changing anything; one draft, two days, and after I published it, I just felt straight lazy. XD
Ugh, yeah, I know that feeling. -_- It’s like, “Past Me, what in the heck were you thinking when you wrote…

Gee thanks, @noodle-mum!
Do any of you Scribes ever write something then look back at your older writing and realize that the latter is much better?
