@katthewriter Thanks! What part of writing did I miss?
@caseybold Thank you! Glad to hear it caught your interest. Would you mind sharing the mechanical mistakes? And thanks for the reading out loud advice! It’s a fantastic technique.

@katthewriter @e-b-raulands (I just looked up what to do when people faint because I thought she had fainted and I wanted to be sure of what I was saying (making Megyn do). It said if they were pale to raise their feet. Since that doesn’t appear to be the case, just ignore that. Sorry if I don’t make sense. : (Â Please let me know if I’m wrong. I…[Read more]

@katthewriter I won’t say it will get better, because even though it will, that doesn’t really help right now. 🙂 I think part of what Daeus means is that if you need to talk things out with us, you can feel free to. I’ll be praying for God to help both of you out! <3

@ellen-blanc @jessi-rae @katthewriter
The haunted house is okay with me. Megyn will be fine. Just as long as there isn’t anything really gory or “magical”.

The girl ducked past people, with Megyn in hot pursuit.‘Oh my!’s and the ‘What is that strange thing?’ And the ‘Her face would give me nightmares for weeks!’ showered around them. Megyn winced as the ladies pulled their small children behind their large skirts to shield them. I understand now why the girl wanted me to…[Read more]

@katthewriter (Gotcha. Megyn and I are both learning! I knew about the t-shape stance but now I know how to use the tools. Thanks so much!)
Ok, he knows what he’s doing. Megyn ducked behind him and stood still. Don’t move until he says to.

@katthewriter I’m sorry. I’ll be praying for you. I can’t know exactly what you’re going through, but trust me when I say I know something of what it feels like.

@katthewriter (oki doke.)
Ignis let the girl pull away, but caught her when she began crumpling to the ground. “Not good.” Ignis panicked internally, hoping Megyn and Amber would hurry. Ignis purposefully knocked her hat onto the floor and it landed upside down. Then she gently laid the girl against the wall. Ignis rummaged through her hat,…[Read more]

@bama-rose Yeah, I’ve noticed that about fantasy here, so it’s kind of fun that now we can get the contemporary writers together. 😆 And ahhhh, I just love it that you’re writing about foster families!! Some of my brothers are adopted and there’s just not enough books about that.

@ellen-blanc @katthewriter ( A horse is something that would really get Megyn’s attention. Horses are her favorite animal and a passion with her. Knows some things about them and how to handle them but is very eager to learn more. I hope what I posted is okay. )

That art is so beautiful! I like to do art too, but seriously, those paintings are gorgeous, and I especially love the one with the dancer (since I’m a dancer myself). I’ve put some thought into selling some of my artwork too, but it usually doesn’t turn out right, I’m not perfect, but then again, who is? Art isn’t about the…[Read more]

Oh. *nods* Definitely don’t make it a retelling, then. XP The tone just reminded me of the Beauty and the Beast fairytale, so I was wondering.
