The girl ducked past people, with Megyn in hot pursuit.‘Oh my!’s and the ‘What is that strange thing?’ And the ‘Her face would give me nightmares for weeks!’ showered around them. Megyn winced as the ladies pulled their small children behind their large skirts to shield them. I understand now why the girl wanted me to go away. Poor thing!!

The girl forced her speed a little faster, and went through the back door.

“Exucse me!” Megyn pleaded with a young gentleman, who turned and laid a hand on her shoulder.

“Why are you chasing after a troubling face like that, Miss?” He asked, “I’d advise you not to.”

“Let me go please, Sir. There’s not time to explain.” She jumped away from him and bolted to the door.
I can’t lose her! She yanked the door back and hurried into the hall, letting the door slam behind her.

She caught her breath. The girl lay against the wall, her face pale under all the red scars. Oh no!

Ignis was there, rummaging through her hat, pulling out several items that weren’t of any use in this situation, a pile building on the floor next to her. “I need another medkit and I should have one in here somewhere.” She thought aloud as Megyn dropped to the floor beside her.

“We need to raise her feet!” Megyn bent over the girl and pressed her fingers to her wrist. “Do you have something in your hat that about a foot tall??” Oh, good!! She’s breathing!!
