Great idea!!
Rebere – Leader (can’t remember language… Kurdish maybe? I used Google Translate for all of these though so the translation is… wobbly at best. XD)
Marina – Truth/truthful/of the sea (?)
Lytt – Listen (Norwegian)
Indarra – Strength/strong (Basque)
Alaia – Happy/joyful (Basque)
Jistis – Just/justice (Hatian Creole)

Thanks, I think I will!! It’s going to be hard to find dance songs I know, though. XD

I prefer to do HIIT workouts. Theyβre workouts where youβre doing like dance moves with hints of fitness in them to different music. That makes it so much more fun
Ooh, that actually does sound like fun! *hears gasps around the room at me calling working out “fun”* Methinks I must try this out. π

Kind of, yes. The idea is that you work on a project you already have or something else to try and get words in. You sprint (that is, say “I’m going to write from this time to this time” and invite other writers to write with you at the same time) and when your sprint is finished, you check your wordcount and then submit that to be…[Read more]

OOH!! Over here we mostly get dry, powdery snow that’s best for using as a cushion when you fall of your sled. XD And 1-2 inches is AWESOME!!
*waves and officially invites you into the convo* XD
AND YOU WROTE OVER 30K IN ONE WEEK!?!?! CONGRATS!!! I knew you sprinted a lot, but… that’s a LOT. XD
Right,…

HEY COOLNESS!!! Snow in Arkansas isn’t something you get a lot. XDDD Is it a lot, or only like a dusting?
Uh, a few weeks ago we got six or seven inches, which is a rarity, but none since them. It’s still melting, though.

Ooh, you should do it next year. It’s a week-long contest between two teams to see which team can write the most words and for the most minutes. I think this year we had over 500 young writers on my team, if that gives you any clue as to the scale of things. It’s really hectic but also really worth it. Imagine NaNo on more…[Read more]

Awesome goals!! Oof, staying fit is hard for me. I’d much prefer to read than work out. I do ride and hike and do other stuff farm life requires, but lifting weights and doing “excercises” with names like the “Jackknife Crunch” has never appealed to me. XD

Hrm… goals…
Well, I want to start and finish and maybe get at least one draft edited for a book this year, so we’ll see how that goes. π
And I have no idea what my 2021 goals were, so probably not? Possibly? Yes? Take your pick. XD
What about you, Erynne? Goals completed and goals made?

Joelle Stone commented on the post, Should Christians Write Fantasy That Contains Pagan Mythology? 4 years, 3 months ago
Woah. This came at JUST the right time!! I’ve been debating whether or not Lord of the Rings is a good story to ingest so much (it’s definitely high on my favorites list), considering Tolkien’s wizards and Gods (capital G pluralized) and all the Greek mythology throughout his series. I’ve reckoned with the wizardry and decided that it actually…[Read more]

No problem! I love it when people butt in. π
According to the tests, I’m a type 5w4, or 4w5 occasionally. Though according to an expert personality typer who had me take like eighteen tests and asked a lot of questions about myself and compiled info from that, I’m a type 8. And honestly, I think that fits me better than a 5. π
