This is supposed to be some more of the same story from before. Let me know what I can do to improve @j-a-penrose!
The bag weighed heavily on Taylinโs back. He tried not to think about the object within as he climbed the cliff.
Only fifteen yards more.
Taking a few deep breaths Taylin shifted his weight and moved his fingers thirteen more i…

@j-a-penrose Thanks for the tips! I totally can understand having some of the arms bare, because even as I was writing, I felt a bit like it was advancing with too many too quickly.ย 😂 More stress and worry for the MC! *cackles*

@j-a-penrose Well, I’ve decided to just continue this same idea I began with for all of these lessons. Maybe way later on I can organize it into an actual story. 😂 But for now, here’s my own (attempted) take on our lesson. I made up the name for the new person, and Microsoft Word says it’s not a real word. Oh well.
I scurry along the dirty street,…

Hello, everyone! I have a question about paragraphs. In book writing, how do you know when to divide up sentences into paragraphs? Do you include several lines of dialogue in one paragraph, or separate them? I’ve always read in books that they are separated, but someone recently suggested that it was the other way.
Here’s an example from one of…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose Thanks! It definitely is much better with a bit more emotion, and I like the dramatic “and why?” at the end.
@evelyn Great point! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. Ginger would never admit that he was wrong or that he was miserable. Everything about him and his home is perfect except Paddler. His personality really shows when…[Read more]

pegesi, dragons, leprechauns (I LOVE IRISH FOLKLORE AND IRISH ACCENTS! They are the best, so I read a LOT of leprechaun stories), phoenix, Greek fantasy creatures, Norse, Egyptian (Did i mention I’m a mythology nerd?) And everything else that is fantasy.

@steward-of-the-pen Thank you for the welcome and the dragon! Is mine blue and purple? I LOVE blue and purple dragons! Is it a he or a she? Does it breathe fire or ice? I prefer ice (although I will still love it if it breathes fire). What’s its name? Can it talk? I would like to get to know my new dragon!

Hi Parimis!
This is the first chapter of my previous novel, Forgiving Footprints, which I *coughs* kind of dumped. I started it three years ago and I guess I grew out of it (talking animals are awesome, just not in the real world!) It also involved the police and genetically modified corn companies, which required way too much research and…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose Woah that sounds super cool!
I’m more working on plotting a story right now, but here’s a kind of synopsis of it:
<p style=”text-align: center;”>A patch of poison. A dragon’s wisdom. Stars above. Royalty, uprising, rebellion, magic, and battles inside and outside of people. </p>
<p style=”text-align: center;”>Esther just wants to…[Read more] -

@j-a-penrose That sounds so cool! I’m plotting a story right now, so I’m trying to decide if I want my Camp to be for writing a (different) story of mine, or for it to be the plotting. ๐
