Do I like TOP? That’s like asking if a fish likes to breathe. Oh, wait… well, it technically does, just underwater. Just like how I breathe TOP… this is getting out of hand. Um, anyway, yeah. TOP is life. I love it. |-/ 😀 (Btw, your username is very cool.) (Btw, what are your favorite albums or songs?)

@everyone, I guess
After…. two… posts, uh, yes… I too have decided to step away. XD Doesn’t really matter, considering I didn’t contribute much. It’s not so much a time issue (though I am always busy) as just, I don’t think this RP is the best one for me. I didn’t join early enough, and at this point, the only way I would actually get my c…[Read more]

So nice to meet you! I love Speculative fiction and your novels/novellas sound super interesting. You also said you enjoy some poetry writing, so I’ll ask about that as well, since other people perhaps haven’t yet. XD What style of poetry is your favorite? 😀 Do you have any favorite poets?

That’s cool. 🙂 I love writing speculative fiction, especially dystopian.
I’d love to explain. So my pfp is the logo of the band twenty one pilots, and the name ‘A Kitchen Sink’ is based off one of their songs (Kitchen Sink), in which singer/songwriter Tyler Joseph says:
“Nobody thinks what I think, nobody dreams when they blink;…[Read more]

[This is really the worst time to interject; y’all are already in the thick of it and Al really has no place here. -_- Oh well. Y’know what, I’mma barge in anyway. ‘Scuse the interruption.]
Alayna decided to stop ignoring literally everything that had happened so far. While she been not-paying-attention, a bunch of crazy things had happened and a…[Read more]

Helloooo! I’m finally earlier in the welcoming committee, bahaha. 😀
Welcome, welcome. I’m pretty new here myself, but very nice to meet you. 🙂
Just curious, what is your favorite genre of writing, or favorite style of writing?

*ponders which of her two thousand characters to use…
Y’know, I think Alayna would love to meet everyone. And by that, I mean she would hate it. But maybe it’ll help her out.
No. Stoppit. I don’t want to talk to strangers–
Alayna is now in the room with everyone else, whom she doesn’t know yet really because she’s late and they’re all s…[Read more]

Ah, yes, haha. By style of writing I meant for instance; novels, poems, short stories, flash fiction, etc. XD X)
I really love Psalm 16. Psalm 116, Psalm 18, Psalm 37, and Psalm 118 (which I’m currently memorizing) are also fantastic. : )

XD Noice, noice. It also kinda makes sense, considering how much you prefer typing. XD
Also, can I just say, the irony of your pfp. I love it. Stoop.

Hey, Cindy.
I’m quite a bit late to the game, aren’t I? The thing is, I read this poem back when it was released, but I didn’t have an account then, so I couldn’t really comment.
I just wanted to return to this and let you know just how much this poem means to me. When I read it for the first time, it affected me so deeply that I copied it…[Read more]

Hoillo! I am, as always, late in greeting people… but hallo anyway. 😀
If you have a query as to my username, it’s something I made without realizing I could not, uh, change it. XD Barnes has nothing to do with my name. It’s just, uh, Bucky’s last name from the MCU.
Anyway. My name is Hannah. I’m a sophomore INTJ-T, the oldest…[Read more]

Oof, I’m pretty sure that was just my own mistake in reading. X) Sorry about that. It was still generally a tad hard to get that it was a female MC, maybe just because it’s not focused on the MC herself as much…

@catwing Oof I forgot about this thread! Yes, it made me so sad about Bucky. 🙁
@filewriter Hello there! Sorry I neglected this, oof. Hope your NaNo is going well!
@pursuewisdom Yes, Scythe series is EPIC. I demolished each in a few days, I think. Never as fast as @i-david though, sadly.

@libby I read your story and it was amazing! Really well done, great imagery. If I could leave one little critique… you describe the girl/fairy as being “lucid” or appealing, so I didn’t realize the main/pov character was a girl until the end, and it was a bit confusing. But maybe that’s just me.
@ashira Thank you!

@h-jones Thanks for tagging me!
@silverdragon This is a great discussion.
I write poetry because… well, it lets me say what I want to say in a way that stories or novels can’t. It lets me just pour forth thought and emotion without there having to be a plot or even characters.
The magic poetry holds for me is how when I read others’ poems, it…[Read more]

Oh, thank you. Have you listened to their new album Trench? There are a lot of their songs I like, especially Neon Gravestones, Chlorine, Bandito, Guns For Hands, Trees, Goner, and so much more. What about you?
@devestate-lasting
Yes! I woke up at 5:30am the day Trench came out to listen to it, hahah. I would have stayed up late to hear it all, but I couldn’t, sadly. Chlorine and Neon Gravestones are, I think, my favorites from Trench. I also really love all of Vessel, that’s my favorite album (though Regional at Best or Self-Titled takes second place,…[Read more]
Oof, the old songs are all really good. Have you listened to ‘No Phun Intended?” ‘Taken By Sleep’ from that is especially excellent. To be honest I’d forgotten which day Trench was coming out and I was only scrolling through Youtube did I find out.
