I think the last part we were at was where Percy had just ridden off to the army, and after lunch, Cassie asked Silvia if she was from around there, incase anyone had forgottenĀ and was wondering š

Gastropods are snails and slugs, just the fancy way of saying it to make you sound smart, lol š And daddy doesn’t know how to do the math thing — well, he says he could do it with a calculator, so yeah. He he.

Percy rode into the camp.
“Who goes there?”Ā A sentry called.
“I’m Lt. Pierce. (I cant remember what there last name was so i just made one up. Does anybody remember?)
The sentry snapped to attention. “Anything i can do for you sir?”
“Actually there is. I’m General Jackson’s new aide-de-camp, and i need directions to his tent.”
“Its about a quarter of a mile south east of here.”
“What division is this?”
“This is the Second Louisiana Brigade under General Taliaferro. We’re General Jackson’s left flank.”
“Thank you soldier.” Percy said as he rode of to the southeast.
