Thanks guys! I’ve thought up my characters; tell me which one you like better:
Name: Vika
Origin: Ruska
Features: Curly light brown hair that is a little longer than her shoulders. Dark brown eyes. Pointed features. Speaks with a Russian accent.
Weapons: (can someone inform me on what weapons we use?)
Clothing: dark brown leggings, creamish wrap-around tunic (like Rey’s shirt without the dangly things), also has Rey’s arm-wraps, light brown boots. Occasionally a cloak.
Likes: Fighting, winning, laughing
Dislikes: losing, sitting still, being confused
Personality Traits: Honest, Cheerful but can be focused (is scary when focused), easily loses her temper, poor loser
Best Personality Trait: Honesty
Worst Personality Trait: Bad loser
Anything else needed for her?

Origin: Scotchlind
Features: Wavy auburn hair that reaches to his shoulders, playful hazel-green eyes, rounded features, speaks with a strong Scottish brogue.
Weapons: (Again, I need help! :P)
Clothing: Rough sandy colored trousers, deep brown tunic with a lighter brown shirt underneath, tall black boots, Jedi cloak (aren’t they awesome!!).
Likes: Good food, fighting, riding, reading, cooking
Dislikes: being hungry, solitude, cats
Personality Traits: Trusting and Trustworthy, Bold, Friendly, Smart-Alec (ha ha), Can Be Rude, Disrespectful, Temper
Best Personality Trait: Friendliness
Worst Personality Trait: Bad Temper
Ooooh, I can’t decide, both of those characters sound really interesting! Actually, I think that we’re having multiple characters each, so you could potentially use both of them.
As far as weapons you could pretty much do anything you like. It could be more traditional, like swords and battle axes and bows/arrows, or you could use modern or super-modern techy weapons, like machine guns or blasters or stun rays… It’s a big galaxy, there’s a lot of options!

Sry for not getting back to you guys, it wouldn’t let me post for whatever reason. *shrugs* Anyway, thx for the info! I think I’ll try both Vika and Aleck, but one might fade out eventually. 😉 I was thinking I might use a light saber, but as that’s highly superior to a sword or anything like that, maybe I won’t. At any rate, I was going to have one of them (Vika I think) have highly superior weapons in a highly superior planet, and Aleck to be in the middle. 🙂 Still thinking up his weapons (do I want swords and stuff or not? Or guns? I don’t really like guns, but… oops, thinking out loud.), so I’ll let you guys know when I come up with something.
Can someone give me an idea of the main plot of this story? I kind of get the games (I think), but it’d be helpful if someone confirmed. 🙂 And can y’all post your characters and/or who is doing the story so far? Thx! 🙂
Sorry for the wait, I didn’t see your post until just recently!
I don’t really know if we really solidified a plot after getting into the games (the Culling)… Basically, your character has to go through a series of tests and competition to get into the games, or they are selected by some other way. It might be different for every planet. Only one person can enter per planet, I believe.
Also, I think that there is a separate competition for each branch of government… I’m not sure how that will work if we want all of our characters together at some point…
Anyway, my first character is called Sikya, and she’s from a Native American based culture. Her home is less a country and more a reserve on a big supermodern planet, so her main goal is to restore her clan/tribe to a high position of authority. I have two others that I’d like to include, one from an Egyptian culture and another from a Chinese/ Eastern society, but they’re just concepts for now.
Sorry I don’t have more information on the plot, I know that we do have a villain along with his or her syndicate, and is trying to rig the games so only the people he wants win… another note, the villain will probably be one of the judges who can grant like a pardon from elimination.
Feel free pitch any ideas for the storyline that you have.

@winter_rose Ooh, thanks for the plot! It sounds really fun. So, one person from each planet? Hm. If I didn’t have one of my characters in the games, would that work out or not? :/ *thinks hard* This’ll be fun when we start, though!‘Kay, here are Aleck’s and Vika’s weapons:
Aleck
Weapons: A small blaster and light saber (on his planet, he’ll use different weapons in the games to keep things even. Does that work?)
Vika
Weapons: Anything and everything. She mostly prefers combat weaponless, you know, like wrestling or something, but she also uses pretty much whatever’s handy (pepper, fingernails, wasps, etc.)
Wasps…lol.
Also, I’m looking back, and I’m not really sure if it is only one person per planet…it may be per country.
You could just have multiple planets, one for each character you want to play. And there are different branches for you character to enter, so they still could be from the same planet but are in different competitions. (Science, military, technology, ect. As of now we have eight branches.)

Hi y’all! I just wanted to say I am reading through your posts, and thought this so cool! If it’s alright, may I join? I’m not sure if I’ll be able to post a lot right now, ’cause we’re moving at the end of next week, and that’s a bit chaotic — and then we have to get settled into the new house, unpack, etc. I still have to read through the rest of y’all’s posts, so I know what’s going on, but if there’s no room for me I’ll happily sit back and read whatever you guys post. I totally understand if there’s no room. 😉

Okay, so the games are called Culling and @winter_rose mentioned in her plot explaining that only one person can enter per planet. Ok. Do the competitors (still need a name for those right?) go to a place to compete? Probably a planet right? That’s what I’m thinking. And in all my reading I never saw any posts about the planet/country (?) they actually go to. I think it would be cool to develop that planet, etc. LMK if that’s something we can use 🙂

Thank you! I’m looking forward to joining and have been creating a world all day, lol 😛 And yes, STAR WARS rocks!!! I do like the idea of the story, though, because I’ve never done anything like this. Are lightsabers allowed?
Hiya, @Mel I’m glad you could join us — but I have only just got here and have yet to read through all the previous posts, so I’m afraid I can’t give many answers. I am answerless 😀 But I do agree: we need to come up with the world where they go to compete. Its rather important. Or maybe it could be a giant floating spaceship shaped like the Death Star! I know, I know, I’ll stop….
We’re moving at the end of next week, so I probably won’t be able to post, but I will be coming up with my world! I have one for sure; and I might do another just for the fun of it. If I have time, I’ll try to get on here.
