The Kid (aka Ember Onyx) hacked his way into the games and is a fourth player for one of my countries. He works for Mr. B, and he looks a lot like Andor’s son, so Andor gets protective of Ember. I’m pretty sure Mr. B plans for Andor to get attached to Ember and then have Ember betray Andor.

Sikya is my character, and best friends sounds good.

Yeah, the losers should be kept around til the Winner party, and I’m pretty sure someone had a loser character, so he would help with the perspective thing.

Menace64 is the group of winners who try to locate and free all the losers from slavery.

Sorry it’s a little choppy, I’m posting from my church basement and have to get to class now!!

Okay, I think that’s all of us to vote. Here’s the results:

        The Military Branch:

The players get a small squadron of robots to fight for them, and then they and their team get like an hour to study the battlefield-arena and map out a battle plan/ strategy. The players with the current highest score on each team are the two generals on each side, and then the lower ranking players descend in rank under them. Whoever wipes out the enemy or causes them to surrender wins the round. Throughout the game the Judges will call out players who make a mistake and demote them, and players who perform particularly well get promoted, helping the better players rise to the top. Whichever two emerge as general at the end of a time limit must engage in one-on-one combat to determine the winner.

        The Scientific Branch:

Get out of the rigged maze without falling into a trap. Combat is allowed, and dirty tricks permitted to delay other players. First out of the maze wins, followed by second, third, and so on. Sciency traps involve prevalently chemistry — mix a certain chemical – and physics — get a model of atoms or whatever to interact correctly.

        The Technology Branch:

Fight a mechanical creature. You defeat the creature by finding the robotic beast’s power switch, protected by a computer or something technological like that, then power it down, get the collar off, and do all of that without getting yourself injured or killed.

        The Diplomatic Branch:

The Judges are sneaky here and judge the players on how they react during the meet-your-fellow-contestants party, while telling the contestants that they will be judged during the Race (thus, we get both the Race and the party).

        The Judicial Branch:

The players are paired and each person in the pair has to judge their teammate’s fighting skills as they battle an animal, then write a report to see how well they observe.

        The Legislative Branch:

The players start a game with weapons, armor, and literally no other rules. Throughout the game the players get to program new rules into the system (via some sort of portable keypad) as often as they want, and all the players are held accountable to those rules (which show up on their own portable keypads). There are limits to these rules, such as telling everyone to surrender or to freeze or to not touch you. Kind of like the government can’t just demand that everyone obey a crazy law that only benefits them. The rules have to be fair and yet complement rule-maker’s skills so that they have an advantage. Whoever is the last standing wins.

        The Medical Branch:

A tie between #3 (Each player gets a virus sample and have to file a full medical report (symptoms, severity of sickness, way it affects different people, ect.) and then have to develop a cure/ antivirus for it in enough time to save their patient.) & #4 (Each disc is color-coded to match a certain disease or wound that you have to know the cure for before being able to attach the cured disease/wound on another player. You swap discs, and you try to give your cured one to someone else so you can get an un-cured one and work on that. That way you have to solve it fast before your un-cured disc is swapped with another.)

TOU Branch – The Obstacle Course

(*realizes that I’m the tiebreaker* *panics* *decides*) Perform the best in an all-out, state of the art obstacle course filled with the most difficult terrain and equipment to traverse. The idea is that you have to go through the obstacles course, but to actually succeed you have to find a piece of info (listening to a conversation, finding a note, something along those lines) and deliver it safely to the end. You will be chased.

Thx for voting, guys!! I’ll go ahead and put this in the detail thread, if that’s okay…

So are we the only 4 still committed to this?

I think our next step should be to solidify our MAIN characters, and their role in our story.

Here’s what I have so far (and this is just from the three that I tagged as well as myself). We’ll need to elaborate this list, and I’m pretty sure I have stuff wrong, so please add in updates.

              ————————————————–

              Vika– Joelle

              Aleck– Joelle

              Aleyda– Melody

              Rikiar– Melody

              Ryumon– Melody

              Osiris– Winter Rose

              Sikya– Winter Rose

              Allor– Mischievous Thwapling

              Wren– Mischievous Thwapling

              ————————————————–

Okay, so I know that’s 9, but my 3rd character, Ryumon, is the character that we had discussed as the loser that gets taken as a slave.

K, so this is the most recent list of winners of the branches that I have. Wingiby still has a character on here, but can someone find out if she’s still in with us?
And then I think Joelle has some updates since then with her 2 characters too.

              Vika: TOU branch (Joelle)

Mar: Legislative (not main character, Joelle made him up)

              Nori: Diplomatic (Wingiby)

              Allor: Scientific (Thwapling)

              Sikya: Military branch (Rose)

              Osiris: Technology branch (Rose)

              Aleyda: Medical branch (Mel)

              Rikiar: Judicial branch (Mel)

Joelle, are both Vika and Aleck winners? If so, then the other can go in Legaslative, and Thwap’s other character can go in Diplomatic, if Wing’s not around anymore. As far as having 8 winners and 8 branches, we’re good on that, but if someone wants to win a different branch, just switch it. I’m fine with my characters winning whatever, but I’m pretty sure Joelle has a specific?? Maybe, I can’t remember.

Oh, and there was a tie for Medical Branch. Of the options of #3 and #4 I would vote for option #4.

                    @melodyjoy,

Thanks for the list! And yep, I had some plans. Aleck’s gonna lose to… IDK who. Maybe Sikya? Vika’s going to win TOU and stumble upon important info while she’s at it. Was Ember going to win a spot or was he going to get disqualified for something? ‘Cause he could win instead of Mar.

Thx for doing that! Originally I think the plan was for Wren to lose…but since it seems we have plenty of other losers, she can win something 🙂

Ember wouldn’t win anything unless he cheated. He’d probably abandon a branch after he got it anyway, so maybe Mar could come in second, and take Ember’s place when he gets kicked out.

That list was a little outdated, for sure, but at least we had something to go off of! XD!

that is for us to determine 😉

If no one has any objections we may as well create a roleplay thread.  I don’t think we’re getting anywhere sitting around here…

Do we still need to make any major additions to the plot, or should we just take our basic idea and see where that goes?
