We could add another character, or just use a non-POV character… we should probably each develop a few of those for the games because especially at the beginning of the games there will be MANY other players that need to be written in.

Lol, I really like both of those! I think that Menace 64 might be easier to say quickly, though.

I really like Menace64. And that works good ’cause there’s four of us, and eight competitions, so four times eight equals 64. I don’t know if you did that on purpose or not, but that’s what I noticed. 🙂

QUESTION FOR EVERYBODY (or anyone who knows how to answer): How many characters does everyone have? I know I have two, and I think Melody has two or three, but I don’t remember!! Help! 🙂

I have two. I originally had three but I changed the character and still didn’t like him so I just gave up on having a third. I’m pretty sure that we all have two, but it’ll be good to confirm with everyone else.

Ahh, good idea! I’ll make a brief outline for at least two, nothing super detailed or anything: literally just name, age, reason for joining, and a little about them.

And yeah, Menace64 is a lot easier to say!

Ha! I never even intended to do that! So funny it happened and you noticed… 😛

And I’m doing two characters, each from the same planet, but different countries. And then, as I mention above, I’ll try to do a couple spares.

I had better stick with just two, because brain-storming a different planet can be tiring, and then I have to type it out, work out kinks, develop the character itself… Yeah. I know y’all get it.

I believe that it is for the group of eight winners who decide to go free the losers who are being held captive for some reason. I think it was mentioned in an earlier post, I’d have to go and find it to be sure.

The Obstacles Course, Seeker (Like hide and seek), a battle with mechanical creatures, Tripwire (navigate through an area filled with traps), Tag (It will be way cooler than it sounds), the Race, Infection (NEW), A battle with creatures, Electroball (a team sport… if you have a better name I’m open) the Labyrinth, and The Final Battle.

We need to develop these, right? Like how they are played, rules, how you get eliminated, etc?

Ummm. Don’t know if anybody else noticed this, but 8×4 is not 64. It’s 32. 8×8=64. LOL. I laughed so hard!

What if each of us make up one or two Judges (excluding Andor, of course), so that we know what they look like and act like and stuff?

Definitely need to do. That along with extra characters. Let’s all get on it! LOL

Yeah, I get your point. Not having everybody die is a really good idea

And can they become part of the “team” that tries to overthrow Andor? Maybe they could get together when the winners rescue the losers (I just like to be in the action, XD)

@winter_rose (these are some answers for some questions you asked a SUPER long time ago.)

Are we all writing from first person, or can we use whichever perspective we like for each character? Early on someone mentioned using different fonts/text for each character if each character is in first person, so I’m just wondering if we’re all using first person.

I am writing in First Person. I prefer to write that way 🙂

Do we have other religions (besides Christianity) for our countries? Are we just going to use the culture and exclude the religions, or will they be like real religions that people follow but are false? Or maybe they are real, at least one of them…

I can work on making a religion for my country. (And characters) It will probably be made up, but my brain is fried so maybe not.

Can we have some sort of like party/gathering thing about halfway through the games, where all of the players get dressed up and stuff and meet all of their sponsors, supporters and patrons? This could be a really good place for an assassination attempt or a fight to break out or sabotage or players to find out secrets. It’s also a good place to make friends and enemies.

QUESTION FOR EVERYBODY: So, somebody, can’t remember who, made a new backstory for Andor. I liked it. It was kind-of written with a lot of questions and stuff so can whoever made that edit out all of the questions so that it is just the Backstory of Andor and only that? I will post it on the details thread. I have to put it in place of the old backstory tho.

-Artificial one  — with traps. The classic “arrows shooting out of walls” “spiky walls closing in on you” “axes swinging from ceiling” “make a wrong step, push the wrong button, fall to your death” thing.

Isn’t this a prime example of how careless I can be with math? I should have picked up on that, LOL.

And I LOVE action. I do not like writing descriptions and such, and that is why writing out developing stuff takes me so long!

Yes, that was me… back to the drawing board! I’ll get that edited since I got it all on Google Docs (I’ve got everything in Docs).

I can design as many games as needed, as I already have an idea for each of them… let me know which ones you all want and I’ll take the remaining ones!

Btw, Infection was something that I played with a few friends where a tagger touches other players and they become taggers, aka infected, and get other people until everyone is out… an idea I had for a twist on this was that each player has a disc that they attach to the other players, thus  infecting them and making it harder for the remaining players. Last one standing would win, first one to fall loses points, followed by gains and losses of points depending on when you get infected and gameplay skill. A creepy thought I had was if the discs were untested mind-control technology… anyway, if you like it we could maybe use it, if not I already have a way for my characters to play outside the regular games. Let me know what you think!

WR, I was thinking as I was typing earlier, you thought up all of these games, which means that you had an idea for each, so how bout you type up a SUPER basic gist of them then each of us can pick a few and develop them further with crazy technology and stuff!!! Like I mean super basic, something that would only take you like 5 minutes. Since it is kinda in your head. Is that ok?
