Hello, Guildmates. 🙂

If we are going to write a story together, we’ll need a plan of sorts if we are going to make this project a success. After reading everyone’s ideas I’ve come up with method for how we could go about this process. Please read it everyone, and let me know if it works for you.

1. Those of us who are inspired by and interested in the prompt could each do a freewrite of sorts. We could use Google Docs to share them with each other, compare them and vote on the one we think is the best candidate.

2. When a candidate has been selected, we could then swap ideas for improving/or completing the plot. Those ideas will be used to help construct the outline for the story.

3. Once the piece has been revised according to the outline, we could each comment on it and offer editing suggestions. The person whose freewrite is chosen would be responsible for the actual writing and implementing process.

4. We could then all review the finished product before turning it in to check for length, typos, errors, and make last minute corrections.

What do you think, everyone? Does this sound like a feasible plan? Any suggestions for modifying or improving this plan?

If we choose this plan and it works well for us this time around I recommend we use this method every time we compete in this same type of challenge. That way, we’ll save a lot of time decision-making in the future.
