@lillian-parks03
For some reason I’m unable to post a reply to your Face Proportions thread, so here’s my thoughts:
Well, I’m not by any means a brilliant artist, but this is my analysis:
On all three girls, the eyes are enormous. This can also be a stylistic choice.The first girl (with the burka) has very large lips, but they actually look…[Read more]

Hey guys!
So far, it looks like the general consensus is for the young girl jumping off the train and being shocked by the world around her. I’m also thinking to get really nice character voice, we should go for first person (present or past) as that is a very deeply biased voice.
@Esjohnson has made a different suggestion on the doc, but I…[Read more]

@cassie-hartfinh Sounds interesting. One of the main things we need to be keeping in mind though is that we need the character voice to be amazing. Super unique and real. Often it is good to display this through, as @steward-of-the-pen suggested, something we’re all familiar with. Then again, we don’t all want to do the exact same thing.
I think…[Read more]

@lillian-parks03 All valid reasons to like England better than America. Sometimes I wonder at our customs and habits myself. For those who like order, a country built on order is best. For me, however, I’m glad I live here in America because of our freedoms, and because I’m the kind of person who doesn’t care for strict order as much as others…[Read more]

@evelyn Of course all those are equally awesome! I’m 1/4 Dutch and 1/8 Polish myself, as well as a mix of German, Russian, French, Canadian, Native American, and Irish. Being a mutt is cool.
@lillian-parks03 What do you hope to find in England that is better than America? (I would totally understand. I spent a week in Ireland and loved it there.)

@lillian-parks03 Right. I understand. My brother is the drummer of a band and they are still trying to flesh all their songs out before they record.

@cassie-hartfinh Haha, I’m offended, unless being 1/4 Irish and 1/4 Spanish and 1/32 German is considered equally awesome. 😉
@lillian-parks03 Those story premises sound really interesting! Is there a chance your friend is on some platform so I can find her and listen to her? 🙂
I like to write fantasy mainly but at the moment I’m working on a…[Read more]

@lillian-parks03 I’m a hermit-practicing bookworm too! 😉
My favorites would be (not necessarily in this order) The Giver by Lois Lowry (Amazing!) , The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (tragic!), Bleak House by Charles Dickens (fun!), 100 Cupboards series by N.D. Wilson (exciting!) (actually almost any of his books), and The Lord of the Rings by…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose Wait, did you just say “guildlings”? EEEP! I promise not to tackle them the moment they arrive, and I think you’re much nicer than Guildmaster Clout. *wink*

Hey thanks for the feedback! Also in regards to the last drawing of the guy I had an actual model sitting for me in that one while all the others were just done from brain memory. The first girl and the first guy, yes, and not just by props like the burka or the dreads. The second girl was not obviously latino to me, the selfie pose dominated most of my analytical space :P.
