Yeah, I’m gonna need a little help with this one. I thought it would come pretty easy, but no story ideas are presenting themselves currently. And the deadline looms on the horizon. Got any ideas, anyone? Here’s the document link so you all can write in it if you…[Read more]

I’m gonna try to contribute by writing something this time. I haven’t been too active with that lately, I’m afraid.

Some denominations can be very different, so some may not connect as well with a book of a different denomination (i.e.: a baptist reading a book with catholic beliefs probably wouldn’t enjoy it as much). But I don’t think denomination matters so much in the…[Read more]

@katherineh I’ve heard of a lot of people using Lulu too. I actually plan on using it just to print edited drafts of my novels (just personal copies). It would just look nice on my shelf. ๐

I’m still trying to figure out self-publishing and traditional routes, so this info was great!
Just wondering though: do any of you have any thoughts about small independent publishing houses (like Enclave)? Is there more control over my book with them? Are they any good?

This helped me a lot! I’ve been writing a lot of sci-fi lately and having a hard time explaining futuristic technology without going into too much detail or boring the reader. Awesome post!

I’m hoping to make a good amount of progress on outlining my superhero WIP. If I can’t do that, then I’ll just imagine certain scenes in epic movie form. ๐

No, the organization Kingdom Pen isn’t running anymore, but everything is still working and there are still some people hanging out in the forums. As far I know, I don’t think they can accept any new members since no ones working there anymore. But yeah, people who were already members before they closed are still able to log in and…[Read more]

I am so sorry that this bill didn’t pass in your state. It’s so sad to think that so many people don’t think babies’ lives are something to be protected. But we will keep praying!
