Ooh, fun! This is different. I can’t wait to see what we come up with!
@j-a-penrose Are there any rules for second person? I’ve never written it outside of poetry and I don’t remember ever reading it. (And if first person isn’t allowed, that means the narrator cannot be a character, correct?)

@j-a-penrose Woo hoo! Awesomeness! This actually might (finally) get me on here more often. (I feel so bad for not posting too often)
I actually just started a new draft this week! It’s the third book in a trilogy. I’ve been writing the first draft for each book before I start rewriting the first one, so that I’ll know if I need to add in an…[Read more]

@julia Yikes! I’m sorry to hear you aren’t feeling that well. 🙁
@j-a-penrose Oh dear… I can translate it in the end to third-person if needed so that you can edit it. 😉
I agree though… making someone fall in love?? *shivers*

@j-a-penrose @ariella-newheart Yippie! Thank you guys! 😀 I’m about to sit down to get in my writing for today. *coughs* Better be accountable and actually go do that. (Thankfully Jess, I don’t have a Pinterest account. But I have heard stories of its wonderfully-terrifying (or would it be terrifyingly-wonderful..) woes. xD)

@j-a-penrose Ooooh, interesting prompt! I hate writing in second person, so don’t let me touch the first draft until the editing phase. I’ll ruin it 😂
Okay, so this sort of makes me think of a Pinterest prompt I once saw where the main character of a book falls in love with the reader. What if we did something like that somehow? Because it’s…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose OH MY GOODNESS! Well, I think it’s time to celebrate with pizza and cookies and the tears of our defeated foes. (Maybe not that last one, actually. 😛 )

@julia @april-j-rhys Oh, adulting is totally hard. I feel you there. It’s why I didn’t get much writing done between February and this past word war, but I finally got a serious amount done! Adulting shall not stop me!! *screams battle cry*
…did we win??

Great job, everyone!! 😀
@j-a-penrose I’m not sure where to ask this so I’ll just do it here. On Kingdom Pen there used to be a forum called “Writers’ Corner” where anyone who was currently writing could sign on and talk to others who were also doing writerly things. Do you think that would be a good topic to make for Parimi Alca?

@j-a-penrose I wrote just over 10K. I might be able to get a few more words in before this evening. 😀

@j-a-penrose I managed to get over 11,600 words in by tonight. *faints*
My favorite quote: Teena squeezed Rona’s arm. “Losing a loved one is never easy,” she responded, “especially for those who have lost loved ones to Sescapa Mordoc.”
But have there ever been any who have lost their brothers to a prophecy that heralds the unraveling of time…[Read more]

@j-a-penrose I’m looking at the form, and it mentions a forum tag? I’m a bit confused as to what that is; do you think you could please explain that to me? 😛

@jessi-rae Thank you! 😊 Yes, you are Jessi James. 😉
@j-a-penrose I literally keep track of all the inside jokes and things in a document so I’ll remember to feature them in future ROTLA stories. 😂

@j-a-penrose I’ve been writing like crazy this month because it’s Camp NaNoWriMo, but my word count has soared this week especially (yay Easter break!) I’ve officially finished the first draft of my second book in a trilogy today (woot woot!) and hopefully will start book 3. 😉

@j-a-penrose Thank you, Faith, for writing this all out. Unfortunately, none of these work well for me. The moment I figure out something that does, I’ll share it with all of you =P
