Teddy can’t protect me
From the monsters in the closet.
Behind the doors, they can see
Teddy can’t protect me.
I try to win over my anxiety,
But I can’t boss it.

What a great article, Gabrielle! Your first point about merging character archetypes to support the theme (like love interest and mentor) made me think of Emma from Fawkes. I recently decided to have a blog to post my poetry. After checking out different hosts, I decided to use WordPress. It seemed easy to use at first, but I can’t seem to figure out how to post under a page. (I have a blank page for each item on my menu of the same name and I’m trying to post under that page…is that what I should do?)
