@h-jones – Hi Grace! Elisha Starquill, at your service. *bows* I’m an INFJ too! I’ve coincidentally gotten the same results for every time I’ve taken the personality test, so I’m quite sure that’s what I am. ๐ You’re publishing a poetry book soon?!!! Congratulations! Do let me know when it happens, so I can buy it. ๐ What type of art do you like most?

@urwen-starial – So cool! Her hair was messy in just the right way, as it often is when Maerielle is tumbling through various…situations. ๐ And that sweater actually suits her. Thank you so much! If there’s anything I can do for you in return (besides drawing, because I don’t have that skill) do let me know!
@k-a-grey – I love it! Quite…[Read more]

@urwen-starial – Yay, thank you so much!! No problem, take as long as you like. I’m patient. I can wait. A hundred years is a…ok, ok, I’ll stop. ๐
@k-a-grey – Since you’ve already finished, if you’re alright with it, could you send me your drawing? Two perspectives can’t hurt. ๐ Thank you!!!

Sorry I haven’t been around! I’m currently in Vietnam so I’ve been busy around here…but I finally got some time to write!
@anne_the_noob14 – Thank you! Lol, Racleva would hate you if she knew you felt even remotely sorry for her. ๐ And good luck on NaNo!

@urwen-starial (and whoever else may be interested) – Hi! Even though I’ve spent a lot of time creating my MC Maerielle, I’ve been having some trouble imagining her, so I would much appreciate it if you could draw her! She’s thirteen, with cheerful sapphire blue eyes, white skin (on the pale side), and wavy dark brown hair a bit longer than…[Read more]

Racleva had been seated for half a second when a yelp echoed from the doorway. She groaned. Could there not be one moment of peace in that place?
Caedon darted up from next to her, dashing towards the door while Theseus followed closely. She saw a flash of frightened blue eyes, not far off the floor. A child?
Then Caedon slowly extended his…[Read more]

@anne_the_noob14 – Lol, if you liked her I can’t imagine what you’d think of my MC. ๐ But it’s not her fault. She’s a good person, and doing what she thinks is right. Remember, her only role model for the past six years was the most evil man on the planet, who’s been lying to her and manipulating her, so…yeah. xD
The more we go on, the more I…[Read more]

@ariella-newheart – Thank you! Yes, the throne room (and the whole empire in general) is very depressing. It’s necessary for some of the evil emperor’s most important plans (which will not be divulged just yet. ;)) Lol, yes, Racleva will be busy…funnily enough, there’s a scene similar to this in her story where she gives away her position by…[Read more]

@ariella-newheart โ Cool idea! This is looking so fun.ย Iโm going to bring in Racleva, one of my antagonists, because I need to get to know her better and itโd be cool to have a bad guy. A little bit about herโฆ

@ariella-newheart – Thanks for those tips! Lol, I would’ve chosen a silky interior lining, so good thing you warned me. ๐

@steward-of-the-pen – Good to see you too! I’m great! Just finished my chemistry class last month, which is a huge relief. Yes, there’s lot’s of fire. I’m terrified of fire (which is maybe why the villain in my story has fire powers. xD) So terrified, in fact, that a mere spark will send me shrieking, and I can’t for the life of me muster the…[Read more]

@ariella-newheart – Those are awesome drawings! What did you use for them? Pencil? (And I love your profile pic. That cloak is epic. The green is just like Arwen’s wedding gown.)
@steward-of-the-pen – I’ve also set my WIP aside for the past few months, because to be honest I was rather sick of it and my MC, but I’ve just gotten back into it,…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes – Funnily enough, I play piano at church sometimes, and guitar mostly for fun. What type of piano music do you play?
Nope! I do not like chocolate, in any way, shape or form. Can’t stand the sight of it, in fact. ๐
@holly-anne – Never heard of those music artists before…I’ll go check them out!

So…I’m editing through my current WIP and I’ve reached the Final Battle. This WIP was written eons ago, so of course I have a very cliche, shallow final battle in which a lot of fighting happens and, miraculously, the good guys win. But I don’t have a strategy for them. They just…fight all day and eventually the good guys kill the enemy.
How…[Read more]
