I love everything you all have written! I sense a conflict coming. This could get really interesting really fast. π
Sorry I haven’t been around much, I’ve been super busy! I’ll probably have more time after Christmas.

@steward-of-the-pen – Thanks for taking the time to read it! I really appreciate it. π
I’m glad you like the prologue! It was a lot of fun to write.
Ok, that sounds good. I was worried the chase might be a bit confusing, but your suggestion will help a lot.
Thank you! Siblings are the best. π

@steward-of-the-pen and @anne_the_noob14 – Glad you guys like the prompt! I’m excited to see what you do with it! π (And thanks for looking up flash fiction word count, Livi. I’d have gone waaaaay over. :P)
@evelyn – Me too! I thought this would be a fun place to practice. Lol, yes, that happened to me as well, and unfortunately that short story…[Read more]

This is a place to write flash fiction based on the same prompt and share them with one another!
Here’s the first one! If we decide to do more, we can rotate on who picks it.

@steward-of-the-pen – Ooh, yes, that’s an excellent point! I’ve recently tried just highlighting a sentence/paragraph I think isn’t ‘perfect’ for me to go back and fix later, and I’ve noticed that I get way more done. Defiance definitely goes a long way in this area! π
Thank you so much! This is the first time I’ve ever shared anything, so do…[Read more]

@steward-of-the-pen – It’s so nice to hear from you! π
That’s wonderful! It’s such a pleasant feeling to get back to a story after you’ve been away for a while. I also struggle a lot with perfectionism, so I would greatly appreciate it if you have any suggestions for how I can improve myself in that area! And do let me know when you start that…[Read more]

@ariella-newheart – I just re-read a few of the first chapters, and in addition to agreeing with what Steward already mentioned, I personally thought the characters from the start were a bit…confusing.Β I think it would be clearer if you explained how they all know/met each other early on and provided a little bit more backstory (flashbacks, as…[Read more]

@steward-of-the-pen – Ooh, nice creativity! Again, I really love how you describe everything from Runawin’s point of view. Very refreshing. And I didn’t have any idea who Vinnie is, but I just read his story, and I couldn’t stop laughing. It also made his appearance in your entry make so much more hilarious sense. π

yes I love seashells. I love all things ocean related, especially marine biology. I so wish that I lived on the ocean! We do take vacations to it occasionally though.
Me too! I love our family trips to the ocean. Do you have ocean scenes in any of your WIPs?

@anne_the_noob14 – Ah, I see! I think white chocolate also has more sugar and is less than healthy than normal chocolate. In fact, normal chocolate is so healthy (in small quantities) that my mother actually forces me to eat it occasionally. Can you imagine?

@h-jones – Ooh, I love that watercolor of the trees and mountains! I’d follow you if I had Instagram, but I guess I’ll have to stick with stalking. xD Making watercolor cards is such a good idea. @anne_the_noob14 – I don’t like white chocolate either, though when I lived in France there was this type of white chocolate mixed with coconut that was really good. I think that’s the closest to liking chocolate I’ll ever get. π A thalassophile is a lover of the ocean.

@anne_the_noob14 – Aw, that is sad! I know the feeling of wanting to cry with my characters. Mine has just done something stupid which resulted in a terrible head wound, and she’s being really stubborn about it getting cleaned. A fun little scene with a feeling completely opposite from yours. π I got 261 words. (You live in the central time zone, right?)
