@steward-of-the-pen – It’s so nice to hear from you! 😀

That’s wonderful! It’s such a pleasant feeling to get back to a story after you’ve been away for a while. I also struggle a lot with perfectionism, so I would greatly appreciate it if you have any suggestions for how I can improve myself in that area! And do let me know when you start that blog. I’d love to give it a follow. 🙂

I’ve been so busy with school (by busy I mean totally stressed out *laughs crazily*) that I haven’t been able to write much recently. BUT, I’ve done much brainstorming in those rare quiet moments (in the shower, mostly xD) and I’ve decided that a lot of major changes need to happen as I edit my way through the second draft of my novel, The Enchanted Forest. Mainly setting things up in the beginning in a more…enticing way. I don’t really know if my first few chapters are enough of a hook, so I’d love it if anyone would be willing to give them a read and let me know if they catch your attention and make you want to read more!

@anne_the_noob14 – Yes, I know the feeling! I’ve been away for so long I’m terrified to find out what my characters have been up to in my absence. You never know with them. xD

Driving is fun! I desperately need to work on getting my permit…but I’ve been taking illegal drives around my neighborhood nonetheless. Don’t tell anyone. 😛

I will assuredly be keeping you and your family in my prayers! 🙂

@evelyn – I’m probably the worst person to help you with motivation, because I need heaps of help with it as well, but I read a quote today that was really…well, see for yourself.

We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action. – Frank Tibolt

So I think you should just pick an idea and GO! Write, and don’t worry about where the story is going or what exactly is happening. Be free! Write something, anything! (I feel like a commercial, lol.)

Also, flash fiction has helped me in the past, which reminds me of something I’ve always wanted to do. What if we all wrote a flash fiction based on the same prompt (picture or otherwise) and then shared them with each other? It’s always fun to see the different stories that result. Let me know what you guys think! 😀
