I just had to add in my personal pet peeve. Most of the time in a story, I want a resolution where good wins. And I think a strength of fantasy is that it tends to make good and evil clearer than most genres. Ideally, I’d say as long as they’re in Burn’s world. Kid-Alessio isn’t as scared of enclosed or underground spaces as adult-Alessio (“adult” 😌)

Nithel also was never a child in human-form. (Though he was a baby/child, as a star.) The youngest he’s been as a human, in looks, is around 18.

I could make him go back to that point, and he could be the ‘adult’… around 7,000 years old. 😄
