I’ve found these principles useful in my writing. The other day I had two hours and a book to start writing. I had no clue what to do with that beautiful blank page even though I knew where the beginning of the story was going. To make myself start I just wrote about little mundane things.

I’m done with my characters’ regrets. After they’ve finished any interaction with Avin, I’m going to pull them out during the beginning of Saevus’s battle and plop Mara into the middle of it (she’ll love that).

Pegauony means “winged unicorn.” When I was about seven, I didn’t have any word in my vocabulary for such a creature and was determined to have one, even if I had to make it. In my childish reasoning: pega=Pegasus, u=unicorn, and ony=pony, because pegacorn wouldn’t cut it 😂

And I’m working on A Tale of Two Cities. 🙂
