Thank you both so much! I use repetition/refrain often for songs, but lately I’ve started using it in regular poetry. I was concerned that repetition would bore people.
It’s nice to meet you as well, K. A. Grey, and thanks for the stanza tip. I did fragment the lines for emphasis, but that is a good point on readability.

😂 yes. I actually just finished that WIP yesterday, which is super exciting! I bounced around with nervous energy for probably three hours before I actually sent it to my first reader 😂.

It is nice to meet you as well.
My current WIP is about an orphaned flower-seller, Malai Paowsong, and her struggles against dragons, disease, society, and a stranger so that she can support her grandmother and protect her home.
I paint both, and I especially enjoy doing illustrations for myself and my siblings, who write as well.
