@nuetrobolt   I know I’ve been very inactive lately. Not for a lack of interest though. I just have my time divided between a lot of things right now.🙃

@corkybookworm  @missfaeriekaiti   I wasn’t notified either. The only reason I did know about the word war is that I subscribed to the topic. Which is what I would recommend everyone else do so y…[Read more]

@corkybookworm

I didn’t get notifications about it either, and I don’t thin anyone notified us. I just saw a discussion on the main forum for everyone that talked about it.

@kayla-skywriter I used to have a horse that I loved to bits, so I know what you mean about the smell of horses. There’s nothing else in the world like it. It’s nice to meet you!

@myclipboardismyviolin Aha! I feel smart for being the first. 😂 I like Lindsey Stirling’s music, but I haven’t watched many of her music videos. Now I’ll have to watch…[Read more]

Do I need to reintroduce myself when I’ve been absent from the forums for nearly SIX WHOLE MONTHS?! 😮😬 (Except for keeping up with the SE fiction @mariposa writes, of course… 😉) It’s been a CRAAAAZY half a year, but I think I’ll be popping in frequentlyish again, so…*flings pecan leaf confetti everywhere* *hands everyone a squirrel and offer…[Read more]

@missfaeriekaiti, NICE. I also have not written in my notebook much, but it’s just good to have it around. Makes me feel like a somebody, lol. Thanks for the update!

@corkybookworm ALMOST *gasp* THERE!

@corkybookworm @brandon-miller

Okay, I’ve experimented a bit. Last week, I did use my notebook! A few times for rambling, unrelated-to-my-WIP stories or writing exercises, but twice for my WIP, which was awesome! I’ve been carrying it around this week, too, but without using it. This week, I’ve been waking up an hour early, but more to get my…[Read more]

@corkybookworm Brandon Sanderson, I believe, writes about 2,000 words a day. You’re operating at professional-author levels tonight – go you! 8D

@corkybookworm

Thank you!!!

@corkybookworm, that is not few words. Nice work!

@corkybookworm Now that you say that, I think Shea’s biggest strength lies in the fact that her series are more than the sums of their parts. With her King Arthurs series, I found each book kind of ‘meh’ – fun and adventurous, but nothing to write home about – until the last half or so (and especially the last couple chapters) of the last book.…[Read more]

@missfaeriekaiti, SADNESS. But also family in town is cool!

@corkybookworm, NICE. Both on last weekend and tonight. Keep up the good work.

@happyholly_c All I saw was your post and your signature and I was like… optimist indeed.  😛 It’s a good look.

@corkybookworm Work is going well…? It finally thawed and we started working three weeks ago. Those last three weeks have been 60, 50, and 53 hours for me so it’s busy to say the least. but I still love it

Beta Sun is coming. Very. Very. Slowly. But it is technically coming. Thanks for asking!

@silverdragon, Cool! It’s a pleasure to meet you… though I fear I may not have the chance to get to know you sooner…

@pookiemonster, YES! It is a great book! I’ve gotten about halfway through! Well written… Sorry I don’t have more words tonight… I’m really tired and have little time.

@corkybookworm, I’ll pass on the…[Read more]

@corkybookworm

That.
Exactly.
thanks for putting it in words

@corkybookworm

We’re glad you found us too and stuck around even through the dark months of Christmas and the Great Forum Silence. Hopefully you are able to keep learning from us (and us from you bc of how community works etc etc) and write more in the future. Also, I’m glad you found YWW, I’ve heard that’s a fabulous site!

@missfaeriekaiti
