Hey guys,

We’ve got two big things going down this week.

First, FEEDBACK FORMS.  The Story Embers staff and Guildmasters are looking to make these guilds even way more better.  To do that, we need your guys’ thoughts.  So, we’ve put together this short survey for everyone to go through instead of doing an activity this week.  Please take a few minutes to look it over and let us know what you think.

Second, INACTIVE MEMBERS.  This part is harder.  After the big rush of excitement our launch caused (yay!) some people have realized that life is really busy and they don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to being a guild member right now.  On the other hand, lots of other people want a shot at joining a guild.

You see where this is going?

We’re going to be moving through and contacting then removing inactive members to make room for fresh blood.  (Ouch, I don’t like this announcement.)  Here’s what you should know:

-If you’ve been active in the guild the last two weeks, you’re good.  (Posted at least once.)

-If you FILL OUT THE SURVEY ABOVE, you’re good.

-If you’ve been active in the critique forum, you’re good.  (Even if it’s not recent, I like critiquers…)

-If you have a personal thing that has kept you busy the past few weeks, but you’re coming back, post here and let me know.  We’ll have a chat.

-YOU WILL BE CONTACTED, before being cut off.  Don’t worry about walking in one morning to find out you don’t have access.  You will be kept in the loop.

-If you have been inactive, you will be removed from the guild.  NOT the forum.  And if, at some point, you are ready to be active again, you can be re-added into your old guild.
