Well George MacDonald is dead now. He wrote Christian Historical fiction. Ed Dunlop writes a lot of genres, but all Christian stories. My favorites of his are The Chronicles of Terrestria.

Here is a list of the differences between them… I was researching this a little while ago too 🙂

Flash Fiction: 53 – 1000 words

Short Stories: 3,500 – 7,500 words

Novellettes: 7,500 – 17,000 words

Novellas: 17,000 – 40,000 words

Novels: 40,000 + words
