Ok, guess what I learned about in government? DIPLOMACY. Perfect, right? I’m kind of in a sad mood right now, so I’m probably not going to write a bunch (odd for me, I know), but here’s the main gist of what I learned. Maybe we can incorporate it into the games.
1. Diplomacy is the conduct of relations among nations.
2. Ambassadors, public ministers, and consuls are all important people in diplomatic tradition. Ambassadors are the highest ranking official representatives from one country in another. Consuls are representatives of a government who works in another country and assists individuals and businesses who are from the consul’s home country.
3. Diplomatic recognition (saying that one government believes that another foreign government is legitimate) is VERY important.
4. Diplomacy involves a lot of careful handling of situations.
5. Nations generally act out of their own self-interest, and diplomacy is used to align the foreign nation’s self-interest with the home nation’s interest.
Just thought I’d point that out. 🙂

1. No, I don’t need him to be a winner, 2 of my characters are already main, winning characters. I mentioned that because, since at this point, all of our characters that are main are winning the Cullings, we thought before that we should have one main lose, to get an insight into that side of things, which is why I developed him in the first place. We don’t have to. That was an idea from a super-duper long time ago. Let me know
2. I only have 4 extra ones in my notes, do you have more?And then all the input you guys put into games, I don’t have time to add in my own, so we can work those ideas through. All of them sound good though. Thank you! (Wing and Winter Rose)

2. Girl, I got way more. Some are my own that I have, alas, neglected to share, mostly because they needed sorted and processing. I also grabbed literally every other character I saw in the posts, so right now all together I think we have thirty, maybe more players.
What I know in my head and what I believe in my heart are two entirely different things.
1. I don’t know, depends on what everybody else thinks. GUYS! WHAT DO YOU THINK! (In case you don’t know what the questions is: should we have a MC who is a loser of the Cullings (thus making us have 9 main characters- the one loser and the 8 winners???)

Let’s see… I think I developed 4 or 5 extra “filler” characters (Lalel, Jabal, Irad, Mista & Mar, etc.) Vika will win TOU, and I was going to have Aleck lose so we could have an inside POV (plus he could learn to take losing more graciously, lol).
Ha ha, glad you liked it! I put Blurter in and realized that Wing and I were the only ones with “official” names, so I made some up. ( @winter_rose, you’re the Mental Whiz, in case you didn’t figure it out. :P)
Yeah! Well, actually, rollforfantasy.com. But close enough. And no, the facial stuff and color isn’t part of the website (although I wish it was), I added that myself (or tried to, lol) with a program on my computer. 🙂
And yes, that was the idea (I forgot to put the purpose in *facepalm*). I was going to develop some other game ideas/answer your questions on the previous page, but I got sick of my computer and went outside for while. 😉 We’ll see if I can get that done today.

Answers to Mel’s Questions:
- Yes.
- Yeah, I think that’d be useful. Perhaps we should make the same amount, if not more, filler characters that we have main, if that makes sense? Maybe we could have 20 contestants developed and 9 of them are main?
- Oh boy. 😛
- Military Branch: I like it how it is. If we completely change it to a mental thing, most of our games will be mental instead of physical, which kind of gets rid of the point of having this huge arena. 😛 We could also have two phases for this one, since it’s kind of important. Like maybe #1 phase is The Living Battle, and #2 phase is the top two contestants picking sides and having a full out battle with strategy and all that good stuff. Of course, Rose is winning this, so maybe she should make all the decisions. 🙂
- Scientific Branch: Looks good! I’m not a science-y person either (my best type is probably physics, but more levers and gears and stuff instead of gravity and atoms, that kind of thing). Looks like Thwapling wins that branch, though, so maybe she can choose the most prevalent type?
- Technology Branch: Once again, looks good to me!
- Diplomacy Branch: Yep, I’m on board for the Race-is-a-ruse thing. Maybe the contestants have to talk someone into something, or talk their way out of something, or, like Rose said, giving a speech or settling a planned argument. 🙂 Andor discovering his favorite 8 here also sounds like a good idea.
- Judicial Branch: Yeah, this one is hard. One idea I had was having them go through an imaginary (or virtual reality) court-room trial with them as a judge. *shrugs* Or maybe they have to judge other contestants as they fight and make sure they act according to whatever rules those trying out for Legislative make up (maybe a dual-games thing?), then come up with punishments if a person slips. *shrugs again* I honestly am just blurting my ideas out (I am in the esteemed Blurter Club, after all.)
- Legislative Branch: Hm… another tricky one… We could go with aforementioned idea, which sounds kind of cheesy now that I look back on it, or we could have the mind-puzzle the winners have to solve involving the laws of certain galaxies or something?
- Medical Branch: IDT the discs will work, unless each disc is color-coded to match a certain disease or wound that you have to know the cure for before being able to attach the cured disease/wound on another player? Maybe you swap discs, and you try to give your cured one to someone else so you can get an un-cured one and work on that? That way you have to solve it fast before your un-cured disc is swapped with another? Kind of odd and confusing. Rose’s idea would work well too!
- TOU Branch: Looks good! We could incorporate Rose’s idea as well. I had an idea that maybe while Vika or another character is running through this course they happen into some of Andor’s men, and, thinking that they might need a piece of information the men are supposed to “give out”, eavesdrop, thus hearing about Andor’s select 8 and maybe replacing one of them? *shrugs yet again* Just another idea. 🙂
- Yep, I think the Hetsu (*wipes nose on Kleenex :P) is good for our (more like your) planet! I can develop more game builders if that’d be helpful. 🙂

Personality: very critical of others, bitter, not someone who is enjoyable to be around.
Country: Uflistan
Located on the planet Anzoria, Uflistan is bordered between frozen mountains to the North, a huge lake to the South, tall mountains to the East and a huge ocean to the West.
Uflistan itself is mainly covered in swamps and has a stormy climate, which has lead to a tightly concentrated population, despite the number of people.
The country’s landscape is hideous; dry, barren fields, rocky beaches and smelly, overgrown ponds are just a sliver of the crudity Uflistan has to offer, which is why the country is hated among foreigners.
The people of Uflistan are unpleasant towards foreigners and tend to welcome them with nonchalance. They feel foreigners could ravage the country’s well being.

The country of Thiebar, located on the planet Sitania, is a small, humble country with a population of 157,904.
Bordered between a volcano to the North, a huge forest to the South, desertland to the East and a marsh to the West, the country of Thiebar mainly lives off mining, leatherworking and war.
Thiebar itself is mainly covered in uninhabitable wastelands and has a wet climate, which has lead to a sparsely spread population.
The country’s landscape is sinister; creepy, aquatic wildlife, rushing rivers as well as drying riverbeds are just a sliver of the dysphoria Omen has to offer, which is why the country is evaded among foreigners.
The people of Omen are kindhearted towards foreigners and tend to welcome them with heartiness.

Freckles are scattered across his fair complexion, and his nose is round. But when he smiles, his mouth curves up pleasantly. Extravert.

Description: Jabal is pretty much the complete opposite of Irad. He’s build like an ox, tall with broad shoulders and a well-muscled body. His father always pushed him to get into the Cullings, and Jabal did as he was told. Secretly, he enjoys drawing, but his father would consider that weak, so he never reveals his favorite hobby. His black hair constantly falls into his eyes, and his nearly black eyes glitter with intelligence. His skin is a dark brown; Jabal blends in well with any dark setting. He’s an introvert.
Strongest Virtue & Vice: Obedience; Gullibility
Name: Mista
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Description: Mista has beautiful golden-blonde hair that she is very proud of. Her eyes are a clear blue. Like her brother, she is tall and strong, used to fighting and determined to win the Military Branch. Although Mista is headstrong and stubbornly determined to beat any boy, she clings to several feministic traits.
Strongest Vice & Virtue: Vanity and generosity
Name: Mar
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Description: Mar is shy around other people, but tends to emerge from his shell when around people he knows and trusts. His goal in life is to make the world a better place, and, although the Cullings was not in his plans, he figured he could work them in. His hair is a golden-brown, and his eyes a deep brown. He tends to look at the world as a broken place that’s not beyond hope of fixation (thus his legislative aspirations).
Strongest Vice & Virtue: Perfectionism & caution
Both Mista and Mar (they are siblings) are from the country of Norstis, in the planet of Tiras.

And I don’t think anyone else came up with any contestants. @wingiby-iggiby did do our 16-20 (IDR the exact number) game judges, but I didn’t count those since they weren’t contestants. So we have 9 filler characters, and Mar wins the legislative branch, so IDK how many more we need. 🙂 I can make up more if needed. 🙂
