August 31, 2020 at 8:24 pm #118947Sorry I didn’t see that other post about B’s backstory things, this will be responding to that…
You’re right that he doesn’t really have a reason to hate his brother… B could either have to do it as a severe initiation rite to join some sort of criminal gang (he could even just hire someone directly to do it for him) OR B could have ‘accidentally’ killed him, indirectly, as in he hired someone to get him an assassin, who hired someone who really hated Andor’s family, who hired someone who really needed the money…idk I’m not sure how this one would work.
I like that B tries to become the ‘top rat.’ It sounds like some cool street slang people like him would’ve used.
I did do the artwork for my characters, thanks!

August 31, 2020 at 8:27 pm #118949Here they are!! (My characters are twins, BTW)
Name: Allor Hulls
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance: Has dark eyes, though they’re a bit lighter than his Wren’s. He’s usually frowning, but when he smiles his dimples flash. He’s also a little gangly, and has shaggy black hair. And he has a broad nose.
Clothing: Uhhh.. working on that.
Weapons: Blaster rifle, and an electric sword (like Wren’s below except sword version) for close range.
Personality traits: He listens to authority and is respectful, but he’s pretty uptight. He studies hard, and is determined and loyal; he will see something through till the end, but he holds very deep grudges. He’s honest, and likes things to be organized.
Best Traits: His loyalty, how hard he works, and his honesty.
Worst Traits: He’s sorta stuffy and a bit of a tattle tale.
Love Language: Acts of service.
Country: Adyura (pronounced Ad-YUR-uh)
Planet: Ethrior. (pronounced Eth-RY-or) It’s based off of Greek culture a little bit. It has extremely wealthy parts, but also severely poor sections. It’s like ancient Greece but with very advanced technology. Similar government system, though.
Family: Wren (my other character) and him are twins, and they live with their wealthy father. Their mother left when they were twelve, and Allor has never understood why or forgiven her for it.
As for their father, who is in a powerful position in the Ethrior government, he is extremely distant and didn’t seem that heartbroken when their mother left. Wren hates that about him and fights with him all the time.
He is always separate from them and rarely talks to or sees them, except when he is discussing their training for the Cullings.

Next character!
Name: Wren Hulls
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Appearance: Has a saucey smile and almost black eyes. Oval face shape, and long, dark hair usually in a ponytail, and she’s tall.
Clothing: Still working on that, lol.
Weapons: Two long eclectic knives that electrocute the victim, and what’s the equivalent to an AK 47 blaster.
Personality Traits: Rebellious and thoughtless. She doesn’t commit much, and when the going gets tough, she gives up easily. But she’s relaxed, and can keep a secret very well. In consequence, she is good at lying while her twin, Allor, is horrible at it. VERY prideful, though, and will go to extreme lengths to make people like her and think well of her. Likes to enjoy the rewards of something, but won’t put in her work to get it.. But she is fun to be around, and has a sense of humor, and she’s extraverted.
Best Trait: Good-natured and is comfortable around people, and is willing to try something new.
Worst Trait: Her laziness and her pride.
Love Language: Words of encouragement.
Country: Adyura
Planet: Ethrior.
Family: See Allor’s above, lol.
Their history:
They’ve grown up in a wealthy household. Their father has pushed and trained them for the Culling Games since they were five. Everyday they are trained by very expensive tutors.Allor wants to go to the Cullings, and is excited about it, but Wren never really wanted to be in power or enter it.
That was probably too much information, sorry lol. Hope that worked! If I didn’t describe something well, or got something wrong with how the Cullings work or something, please tell me and I will do my best to fix it! 😀
Thank you!!

September 1, 2020 at 8:23 am #118963Great characters! They both look really interesting. Allor sounds like he might get along well with my character, Sikya. She likes people who can dedicate to work really hard and keep their goal in mind, even if it means they’re a bit stiff at times.
There may be only one player allowed for country, but I’m sure we can work around it. We’ve made many changes and alterations already, and we have to get both of these awesome players into the Cullings.

September 1, 2020 at 1:27 pm #118976Nice!! I can’t wait to see how they’ll interact 😀
*facepalms* Oh yeah! I completely forgot. Sorry that I didn’t realize that! Hmmm, I could either just make Wren from another place, or maybe their father could bribe someone, or lie, or do something to get both of his children into the Cullings. I think he would do that; it aligns with his character. What do you think we should do? Thanks for pointing it out 😉

September 1, 2020 at 4:26 pm #118988Ooo, their father bribing someone sounds pretty good, that could definitely work. Another thought I had was to maybe have one of them compete in the place of a friend from another country, or their father could have them pretend to be from another country.

September 1, 2020 at 10:25 pm #118994I’m pretty sure that we had decided on 2 per country. Like positive. Did that change?

September 2, 2020 at 9:14 am #118996Oh. On part of the details posting it says one player per country, but I posted that part so it could’ve been a mistake. I was under the impression that we had only one player per country this whole time. We could just change it to two players, because I’m not sure how it was before now.

September 2, 2020 at 9:29 am #118998OH, YEP, I found it. It’s on page eight, and it was actually something I brought up, ironically. So I DID made a mistake in the Cullings Comprehensive Guide. *sigh* Sorry everyone!
=======
So, we have two players competing per country. Is there a possibility of three, or is it only two?

September 2, 2020 at 10:36 am #119004Yeah, I thought I had seen it somewhere. It’s okay, that’s not the only mistake on the page. I accidentally duplicated something, the Andor backstory thing which had to be revised, and a bunch of other little things.
Umm, is there any reason we would need three? I have only 2 and @mischievous-thwapling only has 2. Is there anybody that has 3. I don’t think so, but if you do please let us know asap 🙂
